I'm surprised there are no comments yet. I was hoping there would more feedback on the pilot before I decide I want to check it out. The main thing that draws me to the show is Michael Clarke Duncan. I guess I'll get around to watching it this weekend.
I completely forgot it was coming on tonight (thank goodness for internet DVR programming) It was up against Person of Interest but as soon as I watch it I'll post something.
i hate to say it- but i was underwhelmed. the bones ep that intro'd finder was much better. i could do without the juvenile delinquent, and i want the actress with the brit accent back!
I loved the pilot/bones episode so I knew I was going to like it. Geoff Stults plays the character well. And yes I agree with Barnabus Stinson I like Michael Clarke Duncan as well that's what got me watching in the first place. Also Willa Monday will be interesting in the upcoming episodes she wasn't that interesting to watch but I can see she'll have a hidden past as a Gypsy
A really good start. - The show is amusing and the characters are certainly likable. - The dialogue was a little clunky at times but that's something that can be easily improved upon. - I love that Walter, being the paranoid guy he is, has an underground vault. - This show is shaping up to be really fun but labeling a show as "fun" is the kiss of death. I'll enjoy this show while it lasts.
I actually really liked it. The energy seems much better for me than the back door pilot. I like the US Marshall character better than the female character in the back door pilot; she feels like she has a purpose. I didn't get that from the corresponding character in the other ep. A lot of the stuff with the teen girl felt cliched and looks like it will remain so. The caper aspect of the show feels like it's going to need a bit of tweaking.
It was a middle of the road episode - nothing to impress, little to despise. The original episode on Bones was better and the more I learn about the Finder's mental issues the more I want to yawn. Willa is annoying but that's the default character trait for teens on TV these days. I did like the client of the week though. Best thing about the episode was Michael Clarke Duncan. The worst thing - hmm, I'm going with the ridiculous dream scene although there's plenty to choose from.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
