  1. Season 2?  I think I missed something.  I thought this was a mini series just airing this week.  Is it a full-fledged show with a whole season already behind it?

  2. I'm puzzled by the title of the poll. I thought it was the first episode of the mini series.

Not as good as I hope. Looks like it may get better next week. Meg Tilly's Lorna was more interesting than the younger characters.

  3. the post is wrong it is season 1 not 2
season 1 is six episodes but they are hoping to get a season 2 pickup

  4. It had its flaws to be sure, but I quite liked it. At least enough to watch another episode or two an hope it improves.

The dialog seemed a bit canned, (or maybe it was the performances?) but I found the historical element interesting. the social morays of the day could make for some interesting storylines that were hinted at in the pilot.

Season 1 was very good and I cannot wait to see season 2 this Fall.

  7. Great Canadian TV. I was quite shocked to see the
entertainment value of this little drama done in Canada. It has been a long
time since our TV has produced a product that rivals the best the yanks churn
out. It moves fast, has plot upon plot and keeps up the interest all while it
is based upon our history and culture. Who would have figured the executives
would have figured out how to tell a Canadian story and keep it interesting.
