“This is actually one of my favorite episodes,” Jennifer Morrison says of bounty hunter-by-trade Emma’s mission to track down the Maine moppets’ birth dad, before they are put into the foster care system.
“Since you can’t flash back to my life in fairytale land, because it never happened, they’re using Hansel and Gretel as they did Cinderella 9in “The Price of Gold”] to reveal some of Emma’s backstory,” the actress explains. “So what Emma goes through to try and help these children ends up becoming very personal for her, as her own life is revealed in a sense.”

ReplyDeleteIt was savvy of Morrison to remind people that the door is open for a present day return for Caulfield's character. I'd like to see Caulfield as a blind, modern day Storybrooke resident.
ReplyDeleteSide note: People keep asking questions revolving around Emma catching on to the curse being real (like wondering if she'll figure out that Graham died of supernatural causes) but OUAT seems to be playing that really slow. I'd guess that Emma won't be buying into the curse being real for a few seasons at least.
Thanks! Cannot wait! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd it really is the only way to get a background on Emma...
ReplyDeleteThanks!
