15wks for Smash I like and 12 weeks of Chelsea i like!
ReplyDeleteHappy about all of these, maybe not Awake but yeah, it should have longer.
ReplyDeleteThe Firm is starting to get me really excited. Does anyone know if it is simply a one season (large) miniseries, or could it get a Season 2 renewal?
Hum, nothing on Community. I assume that's because NBC doesn't know whether to order 3 or 4 extra episodes to have a 25 or 26-episode third season (*wishful thinking*). Also, here's to hoping NBC will soon cut back Whitney's order from 22 episodes to 10 and Are You There Chelsea from 13 episodes to 0.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope Parks and Rec will get 2-3 extra episodes, but the fact that they confirm a 22-episode order would suggest that they won't order more though, especially with a full 22-episode season of 30 Rock coming up next Thursday (there will be 2 episodes of 30 Rock on January 26, by the way, but apparently the second one will air instead of The Office, leaving a new P&R at 8:30pm that night).
I'm also hoping for 2-3 more episodes of The Office, which is not mentioned in this order confirmation list, meaning they might be thinking about extending season 8 like they always did on the previous seasons.
Good to see them at least acknowledging Awake, which I await eagerly.
ReplyDeleteWhat about BFF!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping "Parks and Recreation" would get an extra episode or two to compensate for last year's abbreviated run... Any word on the episode order for "Community"?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm surprised that "The Firm" has a full 22-episode season, and it seems "Bent" is going to be DOA -- I'm assuming it'll premiere sometime in the spring and fail miserably the same way most network shows premiering this late into the season (and with a short six-episode run at that) do. Quite a shame as I really like Amanda Peet, and Jeffrey Tambor should be quite funny as well.
I would love to see a back 9 for Chuck on that list :( but they're doing a great job of ending things so far, so I suppose I'll just be happy for that.
ReplyDeleteNice to see "Who Do You Think You Are?" coming back. I wonder which celebrities they'll get to trace their genealogies? (Hint: I'd love to see Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant do theirs.)
ReplyDeleteNot seeing Community makes me anxious. What the heck is Fashion Star? I hope it's not one of those shows that highlights some celebrity's fashion taste. Ugh.
ReplyDelete30 Rock's not going to have many breaks if they're doing a full 22. I was expecting more like 15....Not complaining though.
ReplyDeleteLike others have said Parks deserve more after its horrible treatment last year, maybe we will get a couple of extended episodes those are always nice
ReplyDeleteDamn, it I was "Bent" I would be bummed
ReplyDeleteIs there any date confirmed for Awake?
ReplyDeleteEven though I like The Office, am interested in Awake, I find I don't care about anything NBC does until they give more info on Community.
ReplyDeleteNBC just continues to baffle. 13 episodes for Awake that doesn't even have a premiere date yet? 22 for The Firm which critics don't seem to care for?
ReplyDeleteI imagine that Community will air along side 30 Rock at some point since 22 episodes is a lot to fit in for it starting in January.
It seems NBC has high hopes for The Firm,i hope it is that good!
ReplyDeleteNo kidding. If all you can muster for a series is a six episode order, why bother at all?
ReplyDeleteThe Firm - 22 episodes... Fucking awesome)
