ETHAN FACES MURDER CHARGES IN AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF "THE LYING GAME," AIRING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH AT 9:00 PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (January 24, 2012) – Arrested on murder charges, Ethan sits in jail as his friends frantically search to prove his innocence in "Not Guilty As Charged," an all-new episode of ABC Family’s original drama series "The Lying Game," airing Monday, February 20th (9:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT).

Caught by the FBI, Ethan is brought back to Phoenix to face charges for murder. As Emma continues to search for evidence that can help Ethan’s case, she clashes with Ted and Kristin over her unwavering support of a murder suspect. Alec’s relationship with the victim prevents him from taking the case himself so he assigns a star prosecutor from his firm, prompting Dan to reach out to an ex-girlfriend who is now a successful defense attorney.

Meanwhile, encouraged by their time together in hiding, Sutton has her own plans for Ethan.

Gil Birmingham ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1") guest stars as Ethan’s father, Ben Whitehorse

"The Lying Game" is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by Charles Pratt, Jr., Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. The series stars Alexandra Chando, Andy Buckley, Blair Redford, Alice Greczyn, Allie Gonino and Helen Slater with guest stars Adrian Pasdar and Charisma Carpenter.

  1. So the murder victim knew Alec?  My first thought on that is that he's responsible.  I also think that Alec ordered Derek to kill Sutton in the mid-season cliffhanger.

  2. Makes sense.  That kid is a loose end.  It will be interesting to see what the police come up with for a motive because I can't think of one.
