  2. Thought the "I" in How I Met Your Mother was for Ted. No interesting storyline for him this season...

  5. Another month long hiatus, you've gotta be kidding me.

  7. Ted, I was rooting for you, now I find myself really not caring and apparently neither do the writers.

  8. The next level of the Robin Kevin relationship is "break up."  It's a long time coming.

  9. My reply to that is...

    Haaaave you met Ted?

  10. Ugh, Kevin and Robin better break up.

And Quinn and Barney aren't going to last. We all know this.

  11. Yeah, keep dreaming. Writers never go for obvious. Barney and Robin are too obvious. 1) She is much better for Ted, their romance was done better than in most movies 2) 4 out of 5 group members in marriages, come on, that's maybe OK for According to Jim, but HIMYM is not that

  12. Losing more and more hope each day for Robin and Barney..:(
Well since becki newton is listed as guest star like kal penn, doubt shes gonna be permanent

  13. Um, yeah, Ted/Robin is never going to happen again. I recently rewatched some season two episodes, and they didn't seem to work at all.

And Barney and Robin are not too obvious. They've built them up so much since the end of season six (maybe even before) that they'd have a lot of pissed off fans on their hands if they weren't endgame. It's going to happen. Nothing will sway me otherwise.

I am 100% fucking convinced that Barney/Robin is endgame and she's The Bride.

  14. Really? Every spoiler is giving me more hope for Barney/Robin!

And Quinn isn't going to be Barney's Bride, so don't worry about her. She won't be permanent.

  15. Where is the press release for 7x15?

  16. It wasn't working because they wanted different things, but here they are now, neither moved on with their life. Now, I now they are not happening, and producers said they screwed up and should've made her be the mother. That train is gone. What I'm saying is they would be better together than Robin and Barney. Also, I guess you may be right, though I am not sure how much writers care about what fans think, they set out to tell a story as they saw fit (much like Lost writers did, and see how they split the fan base). The only reason I am not convinced right now is that there are hints Robin will become famous career woman, and that on the other hands Barney is ready to settle down with a family. Simply don't see how that works out. I guess Robin's fate is to stay single, without kids, but to be successful at her job (though it's just an impression, based on what I'm seeing now. I'm not saying that I like it)

  17. The creators of the show have said that Robin being infertile is not a dealbreaker. Barney can go with her - He doesn't know what he wants. (Also something the creators have said.)

Barney and Robin are just perfect for each other. Ted and Robin aren't, and never have been.

  18. Thanks!  Excited to see how Becki Newton shakes things up

  19. I don't think they mean romantically - I think she's supposed to be a female version of Barney, and he doesn't know what to do with that.
