mallville‘s Justin Hartley is headed back to The CW fold with a plum gig on Hart of Dixie, sources confirm to TVLine exclusively.

The once (and future?) Green Arrow has targeted the role of Jesse, a charming Southerner and war hero who becomes a potential love interest for Rachel Bilson’s Zoe.

Hartley will turn up on Dixie this spring.

    I don't mind Hartley but I don't understand why they keep throwing different people at Zoe.  She seems to have enough on her plate already.

    I love Justin, I really do, but seriously that's way too many love interests for Zoe...

    On a sidenote, lovely interview, though it was a bit weird  hearing Wilson speak without a southern accent.
