  2. A mouse that snaps and goes crazy?  It's not as intriguing as a rampaging ogre, for instance.

  3. I am take it or leave it with this show. Looks like a pretty average looking episode, will probably catch it at some point I am sure.

  4. I like the show, except that i really find it awkward that almost all the supernaturals we've met .... turn into animal like creatures! :-/

  5. not sure I'll like this one....the show started with a lot of potential but the last one wasn't really good and this one doesn't look too great either. Can we have something...anything...to start a background story or continu the one we had glimpse of earlier this season?

  6. Not sure they're going to really do the arc thing too much, they implied at the start that they just wanted to make this an isolated episodic type thing, no big arcs or things that would make dipping in and out confusing. Suits me great, because i'm not so keen on the arc thing. :)

  7. Think it's just a result of the mythology - a lot of the Grimm fairytales involved that, so i guess that's the way it's going to go.

  8. It's loosening up in terms of characterisation, the humour is getting more natural and i really like the friendships between Nick and his partner and Nick and Monroe. But the plot/style hasn't become anything different than what it was i think. It suits me great, but i think some people want a bit more plot depth, and i don't reckon they're going to get it.

  9. Yep i know, even i was expecting something more, exactly what i didn't really know, just more.I think that if i just look at it is for what it is i am pretty sure i will enjoy it. I guess i'll find out!  Thanks for your take on the show!  :D

  10. Having said that, there are elements coming out that are interesting to me... like looking at how Nick's home life is in increasing danger from his being a Grimm, and how Monroe is trying to work out where he stands (i love how he wants to help Nick but is seriously doubting his own sanity in doing so!) And hey you might get some arc-type stuff towards the end of the season? Shows like Warehouse13 do that, lighter stand-alone eps during season and then arc stuff for the season enders and cliffhangers.

Man, i love talking about this show too much. :P

  12. haha, funny you say that, i have an online friend who is SO passionate about the Greeks that everytime i read their blog i want to go watch Greek stuff and read myths, and then i go do that, and remember why i hate the stuff, lmao!

Hopefully it won't work out that way for you and Grimm, lol. :D
