Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice - New Crossover Coming

Following the "If/Then" episode of Grey's — in which Kate Walsh will appear in an alternate reality that sees Ellis Grey (Kate Burton) alive and Addison and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) still married — Caterina Scorsone's Amelia will head to Seattle Grace for an episode slated for mid-February. Details are scarce, but both Derek and Lexie (Chyler Leigh) will also appear in the Private Practice hour of the crossover.

    Derek and Lexie, so Meredith still isn't back in Neuro by February :(. I do like Lexie, but it doesn't feel right with the wrong Grey in the operating theatre.

    I think it would have to be a neuro case because both Derek and Amelia are neurosurgeons and Lexie has been working with Derek.

    Dang it.  I hope Derek and Lexie aren't doing anything important over on Private Practice because I'd rather not watch it if it's not necessary.

    I hope we do get to see Derek's reaction to Amelia's problems. Funny thing, I didn't care much for Amelia at first, but lately she's has been the only one I care in PP. The Violet/Pete thing feels just so unnecessary, Addison/Sam needts to die for the sake of their sanity, and Cooper has  alosng lost son plot just feels so overdone. Indeed, It helps that Scorsone is such a capable actress, she was so wrecked in the two parter.

    It was lame that Derek didn't show up on the intervention, but the crossover thing seems like a second best for me.

    You underestimate me.  I watched Private Practice from the beginning, all the way through the first part of season 4 and then dropped it.  I gave it over 3 seasons and, except for Charlotte's assault storyline, the quality of storytelling kept steadily decreasing 'til the point where it was a chore to sit through an entire episode.

    I would love for Jake Reilly make an apperance at seattle grace to help Mer get pregnant. If he can eventually get Addi up the duff sure he work miracles for Mer/Der :-)
    Also when's this Shepherd family reunion going to come? I want to see Mama Shepherd again.

    ok no need for mcbaby now they already got a beautiful one. 
    So i take it Amelia come's up to SGMW for a neuro case since derek is chasing inoperable case's maybe it's one of her patient's.  So they work together then she will get to meet her new neice as well yah.

    Mmmmm see Catorina tweeted something about being undercover on the Grey's set so must be filming her part's today, cos they had a table read for the next epi at PP so she wouldn't have had to be on set the entire day for them.
