    Is Lexie so fraked up because Tatcher stayed with Ellis? Is Mer so sunny and sweet because she had both her parents together?

    Thatcher didn't stay with Ellis....Ellis ends up with Webber in this Alternate Universe. That's why she's happy, and Meredith is happy as a result as well.  Who knows why Lexie is so screwy.

    Meredith and Derek are sooo gonna have sex!! He's wearing the shirt..... He's wearing the shirt, people!!! Hahaha!!!! Lexie's mom still died and her dad would still be a drunk but Meredith is well adjusted so she never went to see Thatcher which means Lexie never knew about her so she didn't go to Seattle Grace and she didn't have Meredith or Alex or George to help her through it!!!! Haha.... I'm guessing anyway!!! :) !!!

    Also an admission of I don't want your kids and i don't love you will slip out of that mouth.

    maybe she went off the rails at college or med school and never finished ended up coming home after being cut from the program. so in AU world she is a patient who's had an overdose instead.

    I think the whole idea behind Meredith's happiness was her mom never got Alzheimer's and she and Webber stayed together.  She never got dark and twisty because her childhood was actually a happy one.

    I think this will be fun, just don't care about all the drama there currently is for a while and do some light fun stuff. I'm hoping the atmosphere will be like in the first couple of seasons, I'm relly looking forward to that.
    There is one thing that bugs me though - I think it's a bit unrealistic to assume that just with Meredith being bright and shiny and Ellis being with Richard, everyone will feel somehow unfullfilled and live a messed up life. Not buying it.
    But I am willing to overlook this and I'm excited to watch this ep nevertheless ;)
