  1. Why does Will need the help of a Spanish teacher when he is a Spanish teacher? Stupid.

  2. I wondered how they were going to utilize Ricky Martin's character, since Will's already the Spanish teacher.. well, now we know.

  3. Yeah, it does seem strange.. maybe because he's actually hispanic?  It's kind of a weak way to introduce a guest star.

  4. I guess they think we might forget that Will is a Spanish teacher since we've only ever seen him teach Spanish like twice?

  5. Ricky Martin is a night school teacher and Finn proposed to Rachel.  This show is really going down the tubes fast.

  7. Except Rachel's giving her answer in the MJ episode and hopefully she'll be exposed as the manipulative, selfish girl she is so people will stop excusing her continuously hurting people in the name of her "ambition". She's playing with the heart of a lost and broken boy and someone needs to tell her off.

  8. Next week they will enlist of a no-nonsense snake charmer to help the glee club embrace their inner reptiles, and Kurt discovers that Jesse St James has been switching his fashion magazines in an attempt to make him dress like a mentally impaired crack baby, an obvious attempt to hinder New Directions chances of winning Regionals.

  9. Wha... This is not Glee Wiki.

I will not even point out how your "rationalizations" are so utterly flawed. But they are.

  10. ? how is she playing with Finn she has always been clear that her desire, passion and drive if for Broadway Finn has always come second.  Besides she has to be a fool to actually say yes she is in high school she hasnt even begun to live yet neither one of them have.  It was stupid on Finns part to ask.  But none the less it will offer drama.

  11. Every time he reaches out to her for comfort, she makes the entire thing about herself. Not to mention that in the MJ previews she says 'for now, the answer is...' If she says yes, she's saying that she might change her mind later, if she says no, it's already spoiled she sings her answer later and it doesn't make sense to sing the same answer so that answer would be yes. If she changes her answer again in this episode, she is most definitely playing with him. He's lost and broken and looking for someone to understand and Rachel will prove that she doesn't care about anyone but herself.

  12. Oh a Rachel fan who can't admit the truth, surprise, surprise. She's been manipulating and walking over people since the first episode and she hasn't stopped.

  13. maybe he needs 2 like if they separate the group. but yeah makes no sense ahahah

  14. Honestly, I cannot take you seriously. And for you call me a "Rachel fan" speaks volumes of the kind of logic you use. If someone disagrees with you, they obviously have to be hardcore fans of that you dislike!!

I think you are watching Glee in a different wavelength that the rest of human beings. Alternative Character Interpretation is all good and dandy, an excellent exercise on motives, invaluable in fan-fiction and character essays.

Rachel has bein painted as a complex teenager, capable of great kindness, and great ass-holery, selfish and high strung, over confident and high maintenance, But has been made clear, factually clear, undeniable clear, that she is a good person at heart, as most of the ND kids are. scratch that, ALL OF THEM ARE GOOD AT HEART.

So I don't care about your motivations for hating the character that much, but the bias is clear, dripping with juicy goodness. Rationally, not a single main character in Glee deserves that kind of hate, not even Terry,

So no, this is not Glee Wiki, this is not the place you com to bitch about characters you don't like, This is the place where we have thrilling conversations about characters motivations and pathos. And if you so clearly cannot see that Rachel is meant to be a flawed character but ultimately good, you have nothing to add to the conversation.

  15. i love u lol well done i dont even need to respond to the long comment she made in response to me lol

  16. Good people don't constantly turn someone else's problems into something that's all about them. They listen and care and try to help. Rachel's motivations are all about herself and she shows it almost every episode when all she's concerned with is how her boyfriend's problems affect her.

  17. I'm sorry, this is not up for debate. Your own subjectivity does not triumphs over what the writers and directors and actors have shown us: That Rachel (and again most characters) beyond her flaws and mistakes is a good person.

And I can't stress this enough, your own "feelings" about a character do not change the way they are intended to be. For example, I hate Blaine with the passion of a thousand burning twin suns, but he is a good person, corageous, a bad drunk, sweet and tender. Those are not things up for debate, those are fact, and my dislike for how the character impacts the story does not change those facts. Rachel goodness is not up for debate, nor has it ever been, and most likely will never be.
