Come on Friday! This waiting has gone on too long. I've reminded friends a couple of times about Fringes' return date and I'll be doing it again. There's been too much bad news about the shows future lately. It would be wonderful to see the ratings going up for the sake of decent t.v..

ReplyDeleteI feel like we need to shift our doubts and negative thoughts into positive actions and feedback. I feel like I'm reading too much Doom and gloom here on STV, and I want to change all that at least for 1 Friday.
If these next 2 or 3 episodes cannot build momentum I fear the worst...

This time of year is always hard for "bubble" shows, but it is exponentially harder for FRINGE this season. The slow beginning with out Peter, the baseball preemption, going into the hiatus on a less-than-stellar (and non-myth arc) episode, the TCA news being less than stellar... It has been a hard time for fans.
ReplyDeleteOnce the new episodes start it should get better fast! New media, and especially brilliant FRINGE media, usually re-ignites the fandom's excitement and hopes.

Here's some info on a Fringe Twitter campaign for Friday that's been going around tumblr if anyone's interested -

The basic idea is to tweet #CrossTheLine (as opposed to something like #FringeSeason5) on Friday night to get non-Fringe fan twitter users using the hashtag as well.
We won't give up that easy! :)

ReplyDeleteJust know that FRINGE FRIDAY will be just that: an entire day! You may be able to participate after all. And it might even extend into late Thursday if I feel the need to make it even longer to get people pumped!
