FOX - Greenlights Teen Spy Drama from 'Bones' Producer

FOX has ordered to pilot a new spy drama from Bones producer Karyn Usher. The yet-to-be-titled series revolves around an orphaned 17-year-old daughter of a CIA operative who is recruited to become an operative herself.

    Sometimes I wonder if they even read the details of these shows and think,"'Wow, that sounds really stupid, maybe we ought to..." and then I realize no, no they don't, hence we get treated to an endless round of short-lived pilots that never should've been green-lighted to begin with.  *sigh*  The worst part is generally they get their 8 seconds in the sun on the backs of a cancelled fan favorite.

    It's not an isolated incident.  Almost all of the pilot pick-ups from all the major networks seem really bad so far.

    it's amazing how these executives are clueless. Every year less people watch TV shows on network, because they go to network or because there's notihing interesting on network and they STILL do same shows over and over and with the same people...
