Thanks to Sabine for the heads up.
The CW has ordered First Cut, an hour-long dramedy pilot from former Gilmore Girls co-producer Jennie Snyder Urman that centers on a young female doctor.
Here’s the official logline: Glad to leave her nerdy past behind for a fresh start in the adult professional world, a newly minted doctor discovers that, sadly and comically, life at the hospital where she works is no different than high school

Sounds interesting.
ReplyDeletenot loving the title. and this sounds a bit like Grey's Anatomy Jr.
ReplyDeleteI will likely avoid this as I do not like medical dramas.
ReplyDeleteI might check it out if the cast grabs me though since it will likely be a serial and I can enjoy medical series in rare instances. Scrubs, MASH, Hart of Dixie and Children's Hospital being the 4 exceptions in the last 40 years of TV I guess. Although at least 2 of those have little to do with real medical drama! XD
Sounds dull to me.
ReplyDeletesounds like Grey's to me. The doctors acting like high schoolers gets annoying very quickly. Then again maybe its time for CW to try something new for them?
ReplyDeleteEh.
ReplyDeleteThe description lost me when it got to the part about a hospital being like high school. There are enough shows on The CW with a high school mentality.
ReplyDeleteI don't consider Hart of Dixie to be a medial drama. The main character just happens to be a doctor and the show has little to do with medicine. Maybe that's why you like it?
ReplyDeleteProbably! XD
ReplyDeleteIt could be cute (emphasis on the "could").
ReplyDeleteI just hope it's not ordered as a HoD replacement....
