Wow, this looks very decent. Admittedly i'm watching on mute but i can't imagine the dialogue downgrades it too much... it looks awesome. Not normally my kind of show (leads are too young, normally just gets on my nerves) but wow the content looks awesome.
Half the cast is young "high school kids" and the other half is adult, so don't worry too much and tune in. I was pleasantly surprised when I caught the BBC airings earlier last year.
No offense meant... I used the quotes since half the roles are young, but they are played by twenty-somethings.
To most people (especially over the age of 25) high school kids by definition are young. Paul is 17 as is his twin obviously, and most the other "kids" are in his class.. That is young.
Just finished watching the pilot ep, and it was ok... very gloomy and a bit confusing in the writing as unless I missed something, the part where the bald guy approaches Paul in his bedroom and tells him about the fades was odd, because how did he find him because how did he know who he was and where to find him, because he wasn't close enough to see who he was in their first encounter... Not really sure what to think/feel about the characters so far either. I might give this another episode or two just to see if it gets any better.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So even BBC America give away a tons of spoilers in their promos too huh XD
