    Boardwalk Empire on Blu-ray, neat ! It's weird that HBO waited one month after the 2nd season finale to release the DVD/BD of the 1st season. I can't think of any reason that would motivate such a move other than they waited to be completely satisfied by the HD transfert (HBO always delivers great BD).

    Also, the DVDs for Haven season 2 can't be found anywhere on amazon.com nor amazon.co.uk, but they'll be released on March 13 in France. I'm saying that because the page for this article is up and there's an artwork for the DVDs (an artwork in english, actually), here it is : http://www.amazon.fr/Haven-Saison-2/dp/B006P180H8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325591484&sr=8-1

    HBO's DVD release schedule is nothing short of nonsensical!

    I can understand them wanting to release Game of Thrones Season 1 on DVD a month or so before Season 2 begins, but I have no clue why they would wait until 2 weeks after Christmas to release Season 1 of Boardwalk Empire. Especially considering Season 2 ended weeks ago.....
