A VERY PUBLIC CASE BECOMES VERY PERSONAL FOR MEGAN AND HER TEAM, ON ABC'S "BODY OF PROOF"

"Sympathy for the Devil" - "Sympathy for the Devil" - When a mother is put on trial in a very public case, she is found innocent in the court of law, but not in the eyes of the public. And when she turns up dead the day after her acquittal, Megan and the team are forced to set aside their personal feelings and get justice for the now victim. Getting to the truth however, is more difficult than they expect, especially when an overzealous reporter (Marcia Gay Harden) does everything possible to sensationalize the case and the victim's mother (Rita Wilson) finds it all just too much to bear, on "Body of Proof," TUESDAY, JANUARY 17 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Body of Proof" stars Dana Delany as Dr. Megan Hunt, Jeri Ryan as Dr. Kate Murphey, John Carroll Lynch as Detective Bud Morris, Nicholas Bishop as Peter Dunlop, Sonja Sohn as Detective Samantha Baker, Geoffrey Arend as Dr. Ethan Gross, Windell D. Middlebrooks as Dr. Curtis Brumfield and Mary Mouser as Lacey Fleming.

Guest starring Marcia Gay Harden as Shelia Temple, Rita Wilson as Ruth Stone and Joanna Cassidy as Joan Hunt.

"Sympathy for the Devil" was written by Sunil Nayar and directed by Christine Moore.
