We'll update if we hear anymore

- 2 or 3 existing cast may be coming back next year but in NEW roles
- We didn't want to tell the audience what was going to happen....since we were going to burn this cast and location to the ground.
- Ryan Murphy is already in "active conversations" with new castmembers

  1. So freaking excited for season two!

  2. I'm afraid of what they are doing. It's like 'burning to the ground' all the character development, ain't it?

  3. No. It's like having a DIFFERENT story every season. Think Twilight Zone/Outer limits on a larger scale. Instead of a different story every episode (sometimes using the same actors), it is a different story every season (while sometimes using the same actors. Each season is a self contained story. This is actually pretty cool considering the fact that many show get cancelled too quickly. if that happens with this show, then it won't hurt the fans as much.

  4. I for one like the idea of introducing a new storyline every season as it will (hopefully) feel fresh as well as be a challenge to the writers. It might take a bit to adjust to the same actors in a different role, but with good writing/acting it wont take long. Looking forward to it.

  5. I really don't like the idea of more than one cast member coming back. One cast member running throughout the series would be (at least in my mind) be way more effective than bring back two or three. That being said, I hope it's either Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy, or Alexandra Breckenridge. Two because they're amazing actresses, the other because she's bloody attractive.

  6. You should cast Nicollette Sheridan on season 2!

  7. This is interesting concept. Kind of a different twilight zone each season. It should be interesting if the new setting attracts new viewers or pushes the fans away.

  8. I can't say I'm excited by any means, but I certainly am intrigued.

  9. I'd like to see Evan Peters in a different role, as a nice, normal guy, instead of creepy Tate.

  10. That would be really interesting. From the interviews he gave he seemed like a nice guy. It'd be good for his career to keep on this show and be able to portray different characters at least once.

  11. I hope Alexandra Breckenridge is one the actors who does return.  I was shocked when I saw she was on True Blood.  I didn't even recognize her.  So I think she'd be a good choice.  If it takes a minute for the audience to recognized her, it won't be as confusing to some of the viewers.

  12. I like the fact that it's going to be a complete re-set with a new story and new characters.  Season 1 was fantastic and it ended so well, if they had tried to continue that plot I think it would have lessened it's impact.  Nice to move on and get gripped by a complete new story.

  13. Well I plan on watching this next season and still have not watched the first yet. I guess I was wrapped up in other shows this past season, I heard all the hype, and now I want to witness it for myself. I did although read through the wiki page so I have a good understanding of what exactly went down in season 1.

  14. I've finally come to terms with the idea of the show being discontinued as it is now, but it took awhile, and there is one thing that I am completely not going to budge on; let's simply say: no Evan peters = one less viewer.

  15. It's a total cop-out to reboot the story...they left so many things unanswered from season one--now, this time around viewers won't get so invested in the nuances of the various storylines knowing they will just start over at the end of the season...

  16. Not a re-boot. That would constitute something along the lines of a remake. Look at it more like the second installment of a book of self contained short stories. The book is called "American Horror Story" Every story is about horror in America, but they are all different. Some themes may resurface in each one but they are all self contained seasons. It is not a new thing, it reminds me of Twilight Zone, but instead of self contained episodes, these are self contained seasons. Like a mini-series.
