A little motion created by Sarah Jones' hair blowing into her face, all three "actively" looking for the missing convicts and guards, and it keeps the moodiness of all the rest of the promotional material so far.
Sam Neill has a tendency to show up in junky projects, so seeing him here doesn't inspire me with confidence. However, the story is very interesting, Jorge Garcia is strong, and Abrams has a good track record. Overall, I'm looking forward to this bigtime.
It is similar to a few FRINGE posters, but exactly like any I could find. Close to this one maybe and parts of these others from Season 1.... http://blogs.sugoi.com.pe/sala_autopsias/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/season-2-fringe.jpg
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I like it!

Like the ones with the island in them better than this one.
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteI like the moodiness of this photo.
ReplyDeleteIt captures the essence, the seriousness of having to find these convicts!
ReplyDeleteYeah I got a Fringe vibe to it but that is not a bad thing, I actually rather like it
ReplyDeleteSam Neill in his element!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree! 'They' are very similarly positioned, as you say, very atmospheric!
ReplyDeleteYa you can feel the exasperation/anxiety of the characters! (Especially Sarah Jones!)
ReplyDeleteMeh.
ReplyDeleteOther than the fact that the tagline clearly states the crux of the series, there's nothing special here.
indeed you can, its almost palatable!
ReplyDeleteExactly my feeling. Those with the island from an angle looking like a ship over dark troubled waters.
