  2. Nice recap. I wonder if each episode is going to be centered on a single former inmate? That would kinda limit the number of episodes there could be, wouldn't it? And would each inmate's tale be interesting enough to make a story out of it? And why is Hauser collecting these criminals?

  3. I wanted to like Alcatraz. I really really did. But I unfortunately thought it was a big failure so far. My thought are summarized here: http://failsafe23.blogspot.com/2012/01/about-alcatraz.html (including an inevitable comparison to Lost and Fringe)

  4. Without having read your opinion I think comparisons to the trainwrecks that were FlashForward and The Event would be more accurate.

  5. Then count it as a countercomparison :) I just listed where it failed and how Lost and Fringe succeeded at the same things.

  6. First off; watch the second hour. Second; the prisoners obviously know that they leaped through time so the idea of them being confused or out of place wouldn't happen. Example; the first prisoner had a ticket already in his pocket and knew exactly how and where to find his targets. These are all parts to the mystery of it. I know where you were going with your complaints, but give the show at least a few episodes and maybe (just maybe) you'll get your answers.
