XIII : The Series has been renewed for a second season, the show will undergo major retooling, taking the show in a new direction. Filming begins in Febuary in Toronto. Episode 2.01 is written by Roger Avary(Pulp Fiction,Beowolf) Source: Stuart Townsend

    watched the first couple of episodes.. couldnt get into it.. im up for this retooling... will check out season 2.. but i dont have high hopes... if it wasnt for canal+ this show be dead...

    It needs a little bit of retooling with the sometimes constant jumping from one scene to another.
    But characters and story were fine imo.

    I’m glad
    Showcase.ca decided to continue the XIII: The Series. I watched the mini-series
    and all espisodes of season one and was disappointed they left the series
    hanging in mid-air. Very good series. Thank you Showcase.

    I remember that I thought that they did a really bad job in connecting the story lines from the movie and the series. But maybe that was just me, because it had been ages when I saw the movie.

    Strangely enough I was thinking about this show only this morning. I invested a bit of time after watchignt he pilot in watching the original mini series so that what I had jsut seen made sense, then about half way through the series I lost interest anyway!  So if it's being re-tooled and re-directed that's probably a good thing.

    Yes! I'm very glad with this show's renewal. I was enjoying it the way it was, but I guess a little retooling wouldn't hurt anybody.

    I would like to see X111 and Irena get together if she didn't die last episode. At least she will not let him get shot by not helping him and it would be nice to see how her connections work because she was always a step ahead or right behind X111.
