ReplyDeleteVery Interesting.
ReplyDeleteSounds very interesting (i hope). When i saw the the heading" press release" i was expecting to read that the show was cancelled. If there is still hope for another season,i hope they put it to good use......
ReplyDeleteI decided not to think about what could happen in this upcoming finale,i'm going to watch, enjoy and hopefully be pleasantly surprised! I hope! :)
Hey DarqueMode, better make sure your fingers are limber, there might be allot of dinosaurs in your future (or allot a dead bodies)! Ha! :)
I´m so excited for this .. December 19 can`t come soon enough for me
ReplyDeleteHA! Ironically my fingers are hurting today! Funny you should mention that....
ReplyDeleteI'm not that into Terra Nova, but I made it this far I will watch the finale and add to the SpTV Dino Reference Guide!
Now that's funny..so are mine,lol....I know what you mean about Terra Nova,i feel the same way,but i'm still hoping. It's the finale we can invest two more hours, and hey,it could turn out to be a game changer..or not... :D
ReplyDeleteI can't help but think that the colonist that pays the ultimate sacrifice might be Washington or Malcom, even though I'm hoping not.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's Shannon that pays the ultimate price. Assuming that price is all 3 of his kids dying!
ReplyDeleteBring out yer dead *clank* meow*... and bring on renewal.
Nothing we didn't already know.
ReplyDeleteInteresting!
ReplyDeleteLooks interesting. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHmm...I don't see Josh's gf Kara among the guest cast - I'm not surprised.
ReplyDeleteFox needs to pull it's head out of it's ass, I literally only watch Fox on Sunday nights from 7:30p-10p (and between The Simpsons and Family Guy the shtick is getting old) . I watch Terra Nova on Hulu+. I mean I guess they have Glee and X-Factor/American Idol but ever since they let Arrested Development go by the wayside I haven't been real interested. Terra Nova has seemed like a waste of money. I was pretty bummed especially after investing my summer watching Falling Skies. I guess JJ Abrams rubbed off on Steven in the Super 8 pitch, way to disappoint your fans.
ReplyDeleteI'm right with you.
ReplyDeleteI like Family Guy but do not watch it regularly because it got old to me. I do not watch anything on FOX other than FRINGE and Terra Nova and if I had not started the SpoilerTV Dino Reference Guide I would have stopped watching after episode 4 or so.
Glee is no longer snarky enough for me and too preachy and teen romance oriented, House was old after one season since every episode is basically the same thing, that applies to Bones too. I watched them all and got bored after a season or 2.
I'm hoping Alcatraz changes that for me. Truth be told though I do not expect it to.
FOX's shows very, very rarely have incredibly detailed writing or the serial element I need to keep watching a series longer than a year or two. They rarely are believable and are not much more than escapist TV like the USA network, but with higher budget. When they are well-written and serialized they get cancelled before their time like Firefly and Arrested Development.... I fear that fate for FRINGE too.
After Lost, I just didn't want to invest in another JJ Abrams debacle. I invested six years for a very small and unsatisfying payoff, the same with Alias and I could never watch Felicity, it was super boring, his movies suck (in my opinion, he ruined the Star Trek rebot, he totally slaughtered Captain Kirk and he humanized Spock a little too much for me). I loved Firefly but I knew it wasn't going to last long (what's the point of being Han Solo if everyone else on the ship is Han Solo, too?)Joss Whedon has a very distinctive style and most people weren't over Buffy to really get behind it and make a serious don't f--- with my show cult phenomena. Arrested Deveolpment had a hardcore cult following and was a critical darling and the cast was superb, how it ended up where it is and Family Guy (along with The Cleveland Show AND American Dad) is still on, is beyond me. It's funny that a petition got the show back on Fox but Arrested Development had to go elsewhere to get picked back up. Fox is kind of like NBC (the parent/flagship channel really sucks (they had their heyday in the 90's and are desperately trying to stay relevant) but their cable counter parts get all the kick a-- content. FX is amazing, It's Always Sunny, Sons of Anarchy, Justified (although they did let Damages get away, just to name a few stellar shows). Fox had a good show premise last season about the con man leading two lives but it just fizzled. I couldn't find it on a regular night. I watch Bones marathons on TNT. I haven't watched on Fox in years. I hate that they gave into the fans and now Bones and Booth are together, I find it boring and super unrealistic (the show is in part based on real life and a real person). But I think the Fringe fans are just as hardcore as the Supernatural fans and will fight so that Fringe will at least get one more season (even if it's a short one) to wrap it up, just hope the ending more satisfying for you all than Lost was for me.
