Supernatural - Watch a parody on MAD

1 Dec 2011

AOL TV has an exclusive sneak peek at an upcoming 'MAD' episode, featuring Sam and Dean facing one of their most frightening foes yet: a teenage girl celebrating her Super(natural) Sweet Sixteen.

The parody airs next week (Mon., Dec. 5 at 8.30PM ET on Cartoon Network), but you can get a first look at the hilarious skit after the jump. Prepare to learn more than you ever wanted to know about Dean's taste in shoes ...

Though Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles don't lend their dulcet tones to the cartoon, we hope you'll find it as giggle-worthy as we did. Don't forget to tune in next Monday to catch the full sketch on 'MAD' -- after all, we might need something to cheer us up after Friday's midseason finale.

  1. T-that's just....Uncomfortable.

I always hated those crappy MTV reality shows. Pile of garbage. Didn't even chuckle at this...

And why did they make Dean Vin Diesel?

  2. I like MAD and all, but that was awful.
I can laugh at the evil 16-year-old but that was it.

  5. Much like MAD, this was terrible.  But I did get a laugh out of Sam and Dean in the puke green dresses and Dean wanting some shoes.

  6. Totally terrible both the cartoon drawing/voices but I got a kick out of the boys in dresses and Dean wanting some shoes to go with it

  7. Wow, this is just astoundingly unfunny. Who thought this was worth the time, effort, and bandwidth it took to make it?

  8. They obviously don't watch the show. The burrito joke should have been Sam's (1 bean burrito and you get toxic!). Why is Sam in standard hunting clothes, but Dean is in a form fitting shirt with bulgy muscles everywhere... not that I would mind if both the guys dressed like that, but unless that was Jensen, I doubt we would ever see Dean out and about like that. Where would he hide his gun? And was that lipstick???

Still, any parody can be considered a compliment.

  9. Hmmmm....... Ok. That was.......
Seriously? I can laugh at my show...... Truly I can......but that was.......Nah. Words fail me. I know. That NEVER happens. But my Nan always told me if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.

  11. I don't know. I thought it was kind of humorous. It's a parody. It's not supposed to be like the show. Just the fact that MAD is even doing a parody of Supernatural is great! And pairing it with My Sweet 16 is funny. My daughter made me sit thru it once and those girls are awful. :) Maybe they really are demons.

  13. Awful, but I am comforted by the fact that parodies = fame.

  14. I find MAD brand of humor really lite and superflous, not a bad thing per se. I pretty much enjoy show, its fun-ish and lax. I got to agree that I didn't found the SPN sketch that funny except for the dress part, but I guess that its because i am (and a lot of people here as well) fans of the show, and MAD humor goes very little dept about the things it references.

I mean, I laugh pretty much with all episodes of MAD, when the reference HSM, Twlight, the Kardashians and whatnot, it's very referential show that glosses over what's on, it's not going to go all in on the Winchesters deep seated traumas, it's just going to make fun with the Pun in the name.

Whish is pretty much what MAD is about, they made the pun then write the episode I guess. The Clawfice and So You Think you Can Train Your Dragon to Dance and Yo-Gi-Oh were funny because of the puns and the silly humor, and we might had found the sketch funnier if we werent such hard fans of the show XD

Because the whole time I was "No, Dean would have said this instead of that"

  17. Mad never goes exactly with what is being said or done on a show.  It will probably be typical mad and God help us, but I'll DVR it.  Mad only does this with the shows that have earned their favor.  It's a parody.  It's not meant to be anything like the real thing.

  19. Wut. Wut?! That...wasn't funny. At all. (Although I did snort when they were wearing dresses.) Aren't parodies supposed to be funny? ... Hmph. Oh well, at least we GET a parody. That's pretty cool, right?
