Spartacus: Vengeance - Final Trailer

Dec 21, 2011

On the heels of the bloody escape from the House of Batiatus that concluded "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," the gladiator rebellion continues and begins to strike fear into the heart of the Roman Republic in "Spartacus: Vengeance." Gaius Claudius Glaber and his Roman troops are sent to Capua to crush the growing band of freed slaves that Spartacus leads before it can inflict further damage. Spartacus is presented the choice of satisfying his personal need for vengeance against the man that condemned his wife to slavery and eventual death, or making the larger sacrifices necessary to keep his budding army from breaking apart. Containing all of the blood-soaked action, exotic sexuality, and villainy and heroism that has come to distinguish the series, the tale of Spartacus resumes in epic fashion.

"Spartacus: Vengeance" will premiere on STARZ Friday, January 27th at 10pm ET.

  4. Thanks! That's a pretty good promo. However I can't help but think about and miss Andy Whitfield when I see his successor on screen.

It was a fluke pause but I caught this at 0:29.  Right before Ilythia says "why have I been brought to this house" in the voice over she is wearing a white gown and looking out over the balcony.  Maybe its me but she looks pregnant in that shot.  Could be nothing and I don't normally speculate like this but I thought it was interesting thought I would share it.

  6. How bittersweet. They are doing reruns of Blood & Sand for Christmas here, and it's so sad watching the scenes with A.W.

  9. Indeed.  She looks pregnant in that scene, in the scene with the black dress and in one of the promo wallpapers. So, my guess is that she is pregnant.
