  1. Cheers for doing the poll :)

    I thought it started out kinda weak, I think I've made my feelings about consequences not being explored well enough for my liking :P  At least they do mention Gwen and how it's effected people even thou we haven't really seen it.

    I loved Arthur's speech to the spirit in the shrine, another amazing performance, and clearly paving the way for magic to be allowed in the future surely?

  2. It was amazing! And gosh, I loved Bradley's performance. Plus, I don't know if that's because of today but I truly noticed a similarity of Arthur's speech with Dean's (SPN) in the same episode 4.10. Brilliant and heartbreaking...

  3. Finally got it watched.  I wish SyFy would show it the same day BBCOne does, or even 24 hours later.   You can watch it on the BBC website hours after it is shown on tv, as long as their server thinks you have a UK ip address.  Still plan on watching the series when it gets to SyFy.

  4. Great ep ... only mildly anticlimatic after the faux spoilers the other day but still very enjoyable :)

  5. Actually, I wouldn't say it was a filler episode. It lead to Arthur accepting druids as equal to the people of Camelot, a huge step forward in the mythology.

  6. I think the first half of the episode was fairly much filler, only having references to missing Gwen and how it effected characters rather than actually seeing this.  On my second watch, I've also assumed that Arthur's staring into space has something to do with knowing that the shrine is to the slaughter he caused rather than just not having Gwen around :(

    HUGE revelation at the end though as you say, can't wait to see how this promise moves forward.  I assume that by being equals doesn't allow the use of magic still, I think that he needs a longer journey before he allows that, lol.

  7. it was okay, kinda boring the first half of the episode.
    I kinda wish Elyan reacted that way when they banished his sister last episode -_-;;
    Arthur's speech was great.

  8. With Arthur accepting the Druids, isn't he also accepting the "Old Religion"?  I thought these two were in essence one-in-the-same.  By accepting the old religion, if that is in fact what he has done, then I think its fair to say that he is in a way saying that magic has a place in his kingdom.  That last sentence is a little wordy and I wish I could clean it up, hopefully you get the idea I'm trying to get across.

    Upon a second viewing, I also appreciated the fact that Arthur understood the circumstances under which Elyan tried to kill him.  I'm not sure if Uther would have accepted Elyan  back into the fold so readily.
