Good luck! Iam attempting to do the same ting I think.... I may end up watching it with friends later this week... but I'm going to try to have a 2 hour finale experience if I can.
Yeah I hope I can hold off. i did it with the first season of 24. I actually managed to keep the last 6 episodes till the dvd release which in those days was released the day after finale in Uk
What an ending!! Danes blew me away, I could even forgive the jazz playing during that last scene, it usually makes me shudder :p Thou I understand why it's used so often to represent Carrie's state of mind.
Ha, totally agree about the jazz. Also one of the reasons I really hate the opening theme. Best new show on TV having one of the worst opening sequence.
ALL OF THE AWARDS FOR CLAIRE DANES PLEASE, no one quite does manic like she does. The ending was seriously heartbreaking though everything Carrie lives for is being taken away from her and all because she got too close to the truth.
Brody seriously Brody, I just don't know how he could possibly be in the next season at the rate he is going and looking at the promo for next season but perhaps its just one giant bluff.
Oh and Dana she is going to figure out the truth isn't she? At first I thought it might be Jessica but I think she is trying to convince herself everything is happy and perfect.
This was an amazing episode,Claire Danes deserves to win every award this year, she it utterly brilliant in this show,in this role.Bravo to cast and crew hat an in creatable job and there is still one episode left! :)
I think he talks the main guy into believing he would be more useful being a congressman than blowing himself up with those important officials around I was also thinking that the video in the clip is like his campaign ad or something to that effect
Great episode, especially for Claire Danes. Come award season, everyone but her in the Best Actress category is screwed. I can't wait to find out exactly what the hell Brody is up to and, more importantly, why the hell he's doing it. It was so weird that I was really rooting for Brody's daughter to find that bomb vest.
Okay... I have no will power... I admit it! I caved and watched the episode! XD
Wow! Brilliant as ever. Stunning work by Danes for sure!
I am still a bit at a loss when it comes to figuring out how this continues for a Season Two, but I won't dwell on it complain at all since this year has been so phenomenal!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
OMG that was so good!!! If Claire Danes doesn't get nominated for everything under the sun their is something really wrong!
ReplyDeleteCARRIEZEE!!
ReplyDeleteHolding off on watching this, hope to watch this and then the finale next week..... hehe If I can last that long

ReplyDeleteIt's gonna be hard to beat Danes in the upcoming Emmy & Golden Globe race.
ReplyDeleteAnd I understand David, he & Carrie have a history together and it didn't exactly end well. So I get why isn't nice about all this.
The only thing my head can get out at the moment: OMFG what is going to happen NEXT!!!

ReplyDeleteWell played on his part, I wonder if he knew about the fling she had with David? He seems like he knew exactly what would take her out of the picture.

ReplyDeleteYeah I read a few people saying the video could be a campaign ad which would be a cool little twist
