This is the best episode yet! Anson Mount and Common work so well together, it's as though they've been doing it forever. They mesh beautifully as actors and as characters. Love this show, love this episode!
Awesome ep ... Nearly cried when Bohanon started talking about his son in the barn. The opening scene with Young Elam reading for his father/master was just heartbreaking. Only 3 more left before we have a whole new withdrawal to bitch about XD
Young Elam broke my heart reading to "his master" then he stole it when he was reading to his family. ,I am so glad Cullen shot the guys trying to hang Elam, they were rotten through and through. All in all an excellent episode.
Yes,that was a great scene!! Right in the face, bang,i loved it.I think Elam felt liberated, free knowing he would not be hung,no retribution what so ever, that had to be a wonderful feeling for him! I shouted, almost cheering him on why he was chasing Toole, and when he finally turned to Elam for a split second i wasn't sure he would pull the trigger, but he did..... I am not one for fights and what not,but he truly deserved to lose his life....
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It was good, glad I caught up on it today
ReplyDeleteOne of the best, if not the best episode yet!

"My name is Elam Ferguson...make sure you tell the Devil that when he asks who killed you."
ReplyDeleteI loved that scene. The look on Toole's (he was such a tool perfect name for him) face was priceless.
