  1. I watched because there was nothing else on and I ended up liking it. Still won't watch, though. It was a pretty interesting episode.

  2. Pretty good. But whatever happened to the hiker that was tied up in the basement? Did he get out?

  3. I had no idea this was a Christmas episode. Monroe as Santa Claus... I can see it.
That's is some tree in the forest.

And the refrigerator repairman has become a stalker. We need to see what the creatures in Nick.

  5. It's Rapunzel meets The Cape, but not as terrible. XD

I love that Monroe is into Xmas! Overkill on the decorations, but I like the antique train set!  I can totally see Santa as a Gravierengeber (?)! He has elves that are his slaves.... He always wears red to hide the blood stains?  It all makes sense!

Fun episode with just a touch of Christmas in it, but not too much to be silly or trite.

I think I am liking the new dynamic of Nick and Monroe off investigating the supernatural elements and leaving Hank and Wu to do the police work. It seems to have a better flow and I actually can enjoy Hank with Wu. I never enjoyed Hank with Nick very much. I hope they keep that partnering pattern approach going!

I'm waiting for Nick's girlfriend or wife to die sometime. Why is she on the series if not to be killed and piss off Nick? Seriously! Give her something to do please or have her go move in with her relatives or something! XD

I'm not sure what exactly Monroe said. All I could come up with was Gravierengeber...  Gravieren = engraving and geber is a donor or giver.

I'm hardly fluent in German though so Santa names and most of the language escapes me! XD It's probably something else that makes more sense

  6. I loved the repairman talking about being in a Grimm's house like old fisherman talk about the fish that got away! XD

Fairytale creatures talking tall tales at the bar... sounds about right! XD

  7. Very good episode. Nick and Monroe make better partners than Hank and Nick. Too bad they just didn't make Monroe and Nick partners and have Nick find out he's a Grimm and his partner's a Blutbat.Mismatched cop buddies would've been a more interesting dynamic. Then Hank and Wu would be partners. They've got better chemistry than Nick/Hank.

The guy playing Nick is getting better each episode. He doesn't seem so stiff and wooden as he did in earlier eppies. He was the weak link but not he's much better.

  8. That is one of those TV clipped storylines isn't it? They use something since they need it for story advancement and then discard it and leave it completely unanswered!

I guess we are supposed to assume that one of the brothers survived and wanted to confess so the police could add a kidnapping charge to their sentence! XD

Meh. The three stooges hiding in the car was the best part.

  10. Another good episode.   Really hope the show continues to get better.
When the brothers grabbed the doggie wash dude from the opening.  My first thought was "this dude is having a really bad week"Then...his wife didn't report him missing?

Pretty soon that little refrigerator repair dude is going to be selling a Map to the Grimm House to go along with his tour.  lol  (hey, I live in LA it was my first thought)

I liked the case as well.  I liked that they were going at it from the two directions (who took the girl and getting her home)

  11. They over clipped IMO.  The device of cutting as she identified the guy who took here just felt abrupt.  It didn't work for me and, as I said in my comment...his wife didn't report her missing?  That would have made their desks..considering the witness in an open murder case disappears.

  12. They way they're sending Nick off without Hank is working for me better than most shows like this (Haunted for example)  I like that they don't have Nick coming up with lies to keep Hank in the dark.  He keeps Hank pretty much filled in and when he needs back up he can get it.

I do like Hank and Nick together, tho.  I admit that sometimes their banter seems forced but beyond that I like them together.

As for Nicks girlfriend...my first thought, when the repairman freaked out, was that this is their 'will she find out his secret' subplot.  It felt like they were maneuvering her into actively trying to find out Nick's secret.   Though I have to admit the tour/proof scene throws my theory into question. :-)

  13. Hmmm, as much as I like Hank and Nick together I think your idea of making Monroe a cop (bumping Wu to detective and partnering him with Hank sounds like a really good idea.   I think you're right it would be a more interesting dynamic and would give the show a better energy.

  14. I have predicted that from episode one

  15. Well, even though Eddie (AKA as Monroe) will never be a cop, I think Wu will make detective, Hank even said in this episode that he looks like a detective, Greenwalt doesn't go subtle so well sometimes
