    I absolutely loved it! Poor Booth! And poor Pops! Not as big as a meltdown as I was expecting, but David knocked that last scene out of the park!

    How often in TV or movies is baseball the common thread between a father and son?  Classic episode AND Booth has a trainee "Boothette"!  I also really liked Sweets' contributions at the beginning. He was the perfect bridge between two incomplete ideas.

    And to think, people came into this season thinking the dynamic between Booth and Brennan would be ruined. It's not ruined, just changed. :)

    This episode was perfect. I loved every minute of it. It had humor and drama. The perfect amount of both. Poor Clark always gets these situations :D  and Booth and Pops? I cried like a baby from their first talk at home. This episode was pure awesomeness. And the last few minutes at BnB's home? I totally died.
    I'm wondering though, why did they have to use a hand double for David? When we see Booth holding the Purple Heart medal of his father, David's tattoo is gone from his right hand...

    The tattoo is still there. I thought the same thing until I looked more closely. I noticed when they did a close up of the items in the box, the tattoo is gone, but when they put the camera back on David, you can see his tattoo. This was a very touching episode. LOVED IT:):)

    I loved this episode it had it all it was humorous,touching,sad and heart breaking and in the end Booth is a better person for it.I was going to go on but you guys saw the same thing i did so there's no need.
    Suffice to say it was one of the best this season. :)

    Yup,your right about baseball,and i could just see the last episode in the finale with Booth,Brennan,His son(can't remember his name right now) and the baby sitting in the stadium watching a baseball game as the camera pans back and fades to black..........LOL maybe i could direct that last episode,ha,ha! Great ep.I can tell you enjoyed it.

    I liked it a lot, too.  Even with the massive "left-handed" error.  Yes, I'm a freak. If one is left-handed it usually means it is the dominant hand.  Most guys have played ball at least once in their lives. A thrown object would be caught in the right hand of a left hander. It is the hand that the glove goes on.

    I'll go back in my box now.

    Neurosurgeon won't touch my back. He says the fusion needs to be extended two more levels. That'll make me titanium up to my shoulder blades. Would have been nice to have this when I still played ball.  Could have been like RoboCop.

    Plus he says I have carpal tunnel in both hands.

    The hits just keep on comin'!!

    Lord Scott, your a wreck,lol.I really don't know whether to be happy or sad for you.I had one doctor for and one against when i was trying to decide.My doctor assured me that even if i had the surgery the chance i would still be in pain was over 50'%.So i didn't and today 19 years later i am still in pain.Yeah carpal tunnel sucks,it seems everyone has it these days.My friend was operated on and now she feels like new,so you never know how things turn out.
    Speaking of left handed errors,my mother was right handed,but threw the ball with her left hand,and caught the ball with her left hand.Go figure,weird right?
    Quick question,if you need the fusion extended,but he won't go in,then how is it going to get extended? Get back to me when you can Robo! :)

    I'm going to see the ortho that did the last back surgery. (#6 I believe)  He cleaned out that same level before and said it would have to be done again. The neuro thinks there won't be enough bone left to be stable. I guess the extension isn't a bad thing but being tall already I find it difficult getting into vehicles.  I just hope the ortho doesn't say he has to pull all the old stuff out.

    I think i'm brain dead and i still thinking about your doctor ripping out the old hardware.Now that's a yikes!!!!  Who is N.Dyamite? And what your 6'2"? what was your height before the injury,and how much did you gain after the fusion?....I can't imagine what it is like not being able to bend.There is a place i belong to it is called the U.S. Pain Foundation,its for people like us,that also have chronic pain,its not like AA,or a drug rehab..This place has good info and good people.The guy that stated this is like us,with pain,chronic pain and got fed up with doctors telling him this is how it was going to be.He is trying to get laws past.you know check it out,it could help.

    I'll give it a look.  I'm 6'4. I have to enter a pickup or a minivan head first and straighten as I slide in.  If there is no tilt wheel forget it.  I've had two fusions taken out already. One was extended and then started breaking eight months later.

    You haven't seen Napoleon Dynamite?  Rent it soon.  Dumb but funny.

    It seems i started a war tonight and its 3 against me.Have you ever heard of an award show that encourages you to vote more than once? Go to the thread where the guys from Supernatural are plugging for votes for people choice award from today.I could really use a friendly face.Damn i never check out supernat.because i don't watch it yet,and here i have 3 girls pissed off at me.What i find ironic is i somehow got my 5th or 6th badge because i was replying to someone on that site.  6'4"that is a nice height,cars must be a real pain in the ass,or in your case....

    Easily the best episode so far in the season, one of the top 5 for a long time, really. Angela's bulwarking of Tempe's indecision, so well handled. And Tina's char (what was her name?!?!?), very needed - she has a vibe that left with Zach. I still wish TPTB could bring him back, even if only for a 'dream' scene or something.
