I was bullied very little in school, although I was certainly the type of kid who attracts bullying. I've always hated never sticking up for myself. If only I had my current low tolerance for taking crap back then, I would have knocked them out.
There was this one kid named Bobby. He just did NOT like me and I could never figure out why. The one time I stood up to him was right in the middle of class. I was having problems giving an oral presentation of my math work and he just would not stop teasing me. I told him to...go do something that is anatomically impossible. I got in trouble for it, but it felt damn good. ;)
Sorry for the trip down memory lane. Just thought I would share a memory about being bullied considering the content of this episode.
It was an OK episode. But everytime the bully was onscreen i kept waiting for Lisa Kudrow (dressed up as a cupcake) to come in, punch him and make them both throw up! "I dont need to see that!"
Damp squib of an episode. Girls story was funny but the majority of the jokes are always being repeated every episode - we get it, Penny loves Amy, Pennys stupider than the rest.
Sheldon was better than he has been recently but the bully story was crap. Such a let down. I don't mind the show but ironically the show about geeks is more moronic than the more interesting, more smart community college show on the other side.
Loved the episode... just one tiny little thing... isn't the Nobel Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway instead of Stockholm, Sweden? And wouldn't Sheldon normally know this?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Its was funny clearly Penny has problems...Amy has a major girl crush on Penny. Leonard is still bullied even in his late 20s sad.

eh.. wasn't my favorite episode, though the girls stealing clothes from the donation drop-off was kind of funny
ReplyDeleteI scored it Great but really the bully storyline wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be. Penny and the ladies dumpster diving was a hoot.
ReplyDeleteIt was an okay episode for me. I did enjoy the girls' dumpster diving though

ReplyDeleteBest part had to be the girls going for the clothes, hands down

ReplyDeleteI liked the girls part...very funny...and Sheldon of course!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know the show has gone downhill when the only funny part of it are the three girls.
