Before returning on ABC with the final 5 episodes of its first season, starting on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 10/9c with the 10th episode (Secrets and Lies), Sony Pictures TV chose to promote Pan Am during this Christmas break by having all first 9 episodes available for free on iTunes, until January 5. This offer is only available in the United States.
Sony Pictures TV is also currently producing Community, Damages, Breaking Bad, Rules of Engagement, The Big C, Happy Endings and Breaking In, so they know a little bit about struggling shows on the brink of cancellation and shows that had a hard time getting renewal deals. Perhaps this little Christmas present from them to iTunes users will help Pan Am increase its ratings when it returns, even if the renewal for a second season is likely to remain a long shot (but if Good Christian Belles flops, who knows what could happen ?).

ReplyDeleteDoubt trying to get people to catch up will work, but I do hope it would.
