Amy Acker, who had roles on both Joss Whedon’s Angel and Dollhouse, will visit ABC’s fantastical freshman drama as a romantic interest for both Grumpy (of the Seven Dwarves) and his surly Storybrooke counterpart, Leroy, in a late winter episode that delves into the grouch’s backstory.
Lee Arenberg (Grumpy/Leroy) cheered the casting via Twitter, saying that on Friday he was “living the dream” working opposite both Acker and Ginnifer Goodwin (aka Snow White/Mary Margaret) — though it was not clear in which of the show’s two worlds their scenes were taking place.
Well, TVLine can exclusively report that Acker will play characters in both Storybrooke and the fairy tale world that was.

ReplyDeleteSounds interesting
ReplyDeleteLucky Dwarf!
ReplyDeleteSpoiler TV beat TV Line to the punch on this one. TV Line filled in the details for us but the photos of Acker and Arenberg were already posted here a day or so ago. :)
ReplyDeleteLove Amy! Hopefully she'll be a returning guest star even after the first appearance. I miss seeing her on tv! Would love if she could stay on Once somehow.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see her get a regular TV gig also.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!
ReplyDeleteGreat News.. Love Amy since "Angel".
ReplyDeleteShe is a welcome addition as far as I am concerned.
ReplyDeleteShe does need a regular tv gig! I wouldn't mind if they kept David Anders on as well. I always love the work he does.
ReplyDeleteCool, I love Amy. She's a great actress.
ReplyDeleteLOVE her!
ReplyDeleteso awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks! Great news.
ReplyDeleteI wish I never watched Lost. It makes other shows look like the absolute pits. We were really shooting for the stars with that one.
ReplyDeleteOh Man!Amy on Once Upon a Time.A second Joss Whedon Actress on show.Always happy to see Amy.
ReplyDeleteAnd this time on show I am already watching.
She's fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLet's not forget her Bad Robot connection as Kelly Peyton on Alias!
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteSounds very interesting!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds interesting. Yay
ReplyDeleteThat put a smile on my face. I love Amy!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Amy Acker on Angel (which I still haven't finished watching!) and this show sounds good, I think I need to start watching!
ReplyDeleteYay! I love Amy :)
ReplyDeleteNice, but I thought we knew this a long time ago, or at least I did.
ReplyDeleteWhat? You haven't finished watching Angel? How is that possible? I was so pissed they didn't get another season but the books and the graphic novel sagas kind of satiated my appetite. I hate David on Bones, miss Charisma and James, still not really sure about SMG on Ringer. But love Amy to pieces she was kind of the Tara of that show under utlized and "killed" off way too soon in plot contrivance. Happy watching!
ReplyDeleteIf Acker is there, I'm there. Guess I have to get caught up on the episodes I missed. I hope she's a kick butt heroine in the fairy tale world.
ReplyDeleteNice.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I started watching Buffy for the first time in May then started Bones in late May and over the summer I watched all 6 seasons of bones, 7 seasons of buffy and 4 seasons of Angel then school started up and I didnt have time =P. I quite enjoyed watching Buffy and Angel together when they were on one after the other (well I was watching online/on DVD but still it was fun). Will finish season 5 of Angel hopefully in January :D
ReplyDeleteI about died of glee when I read this. It's like a collision of all that is awesome. I wonder who she'll be.
ReplyDeleteLovee Amy Acker!
