ReplyDeleteI like your talk of free will and choice, but i think you have it backwards. In the real world the characters have all lost their memories and so their choice has been taken from them. In the fairytale world that is where they had choice. Choice to fight the evil queen and choice to fall in love. Like in this episode Charming may not have had a good choice, do what the king says and marry Midas' daughter or we kill your mother, but at least it was a choice. In the real world where they don't even know themselves or know the people they care the most about, Snow and Charming are husband and wife and don't know each other, Emma is their child and they don't know her, that is where their choice has been taken.
ReplyDeleteAlso the mirror is a guy in Storybrooke. It is Sidney, the black guy who visited the mayor by her apple tree, the editor of the daily mirror, the guy who made the bet with the Sheriff in ep 7, and the guy who is going to run against Emma in the next episode. That guy is the mirror.
