I think a lot of the user add-ons on the Seriable list are reaches, but there is no doubt the producers like to insert LOST eggs like the apartment number 108... the clock stuck at 8:15, , the MacCtcheon Scotch bottle, the Apollo candy bar or the Geronimo Jackson sticker.
I love that site. But for some reason I can't make a comment there when I am at the address I live at for the moment. I guess I must have pissed them off once or something. I don't know. Any other place on earth I can comment but this particular IP address, Nada.
Yep I love Roco's Fringe Observations and that Aria's Dexter breakdowns. Now that OUaT has kicked it into high gear I am enjoying those posts too. I think Roco drops by here every now and then as well. I have noticed that STV is the place for all the TV bloggers to come together and share ideas. Reminds me of The Sideways LOST world. :-)
I missed this one,it figures,lol....I think i only picked up three maybe four and they were really obvious, like right in your face obvious. It seems that i am always doing something when i am watching the shows,it is not until i watch it for the second time that i pick up more, when i am just watching, not doing.......
No doubt about that. But one considers that perhaps a wall of boxes could be coincidental. I suppose I am not at the point of looking as closely at OUAT than I did at Lost.
That said, I do tend to scrutinize the details in Fringe in a somewhat Lostian manner and would love if OUAT could be another show to satiate us fans who enjoy the attention to detail, the fun easter eggs, the clues.
I like the easter eggs but I think Person of Interest is way better with the easter eggs and used less sparingly, which is what I prefer, so that show can grow and have it's own identity, that is what I hope for OUaT as well, it is an intriguing concept for a show but I want it to have it's own meta humor, like Ruby and her wolf necklace
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh, awesome! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am loving all these subtle references to Lost and the Lost cast members. (Alan Dale and Emilie de Ravin.)
I missed this one during the episode......
ReplyDeleteeagle eyes. O.o
ReplyDeleteHa! Reaching much? ;)
ReplyDeleteNice. Esp. if it was intentional.

I would be surprised if it was inot ntentional.
A bit more subtle than their previous ones!
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I hadn't realised they were doing this. I will be more vioilant in future.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :-)
ReplyDeleteMeh. Just goes to show that some Easter eggs are better than others. Apollo bar ftw.

ReplyDeleteOdd! XD
ReplyDeleteI have not commented there that I recall.. I save my comments for here I guess.
Yeah they have some of the best FRINGE observations or reviews I have found. Perfect site for me since I love serials and that's what they do....

ReplyDeleteAnd of course Regina lives @ 108 ... love Easter eggs :)
ReplyDeletewow, love it!
ReplyDeleteDidn't see or notice this - but it it's nothing like an apollo bar or mccutchen whiskey. Still, I'll take it.

Cool, gonna have to check out the site
ReplyDeleteI like the nods, whether or not they are intentional. They're like inside jokes.
ReplyDeleteomg! I did not notice that!
