This is going to be great!
ReplyDeleteI hope 3 is arthur to merlin. 4 is hopefully morgana to arthur.
ReplyDeleteSQUEEEEEEEE!!!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I can't tell you how much I wish that were true!! And if someone-hopefully-Morgana says that most-likely-Arthur went back for his servant then it's totally possible!! :D Gosh, I just...to have Arthur say that to Merlin...it has been a LONG time in coming and I want it to!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the second one is to old!Merlin or--OH! I'm guessing it's Agravaine to Merlin! Yeah he's definitely gonna die. And I totally agree that I just wish so much that Arthur is saying the third one to Merlin!! I want it so, so bad!!
ReplyDeleteI feel as though 3 is more likely to come from Agravaine to Morgana. I think the whole "bear to lose you" is a little too intimate for Arthur to use...even though he may actually feel that way about Merlin.
ReplyDeleteWell time will tell!
Intrigued by the fifth one - sounds like it could be Arthur/Gwen but the ending of part 1 seems to contradict that.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't think he would use "friend" (the last one is definitely Agravaine though - or Gwen to Arthur. Both are pretty submissive characters in love but the speech pattern is more Gwen)
ReplyDeleteas for the fourth I think it can work in many ways,Morgana to Arthur or even Merlin to Arthur.Either way I think we can assume that Arthur saves Merlin at some point...although that doesn't necessarily mean that the third line is from Arthur but I think it's likely...
how so?
ReplyDeleteOne of those is correct :p
ReplyDeleteA lot of correct guesses :o I'll add some of the correct ones to the post tomorrow, keep them coming :D
ReplyDelete1. Merlin to Arthur
ReplyDelete2. Agravaine to Merlin
3. Arthur to Merlin
4. Agravaine or Tristan to Arthur
5. Arthur to Gwen
6. could be almost anyone
7. Arthur to Merlin or Gwen
8. Dragon to Merlin
9. Merlin or old Merlin to Arthur
10. Helios to Morgana
11. Arthur to Merlin
12. Arthur to Merlin
Could 3 be the dragon to Merlin?
ReplyDeleteI've read elsewhere that some think #5 could be Gwen to Morgana, or maybe even Arthur to Morgana. I would definitely prefer those pairings rather than Arthur and Gwen.
ReplyDelete#5 could be Arthur to Agravaine. I really hope #5 is NOT Arthur to Merlin, after learning about his magic. That would be dreadful -- degrading Arthur's character just for the sake of melodramatic tension.
ReplyDelete1. Arthur to Merlin2. Agravaine to Merlin3. Arthur to Merlin 4.Morgana to Arthur5. Arthur to Gwen6. Gaius to Elyan7. Agravaine to Merlin8. Dragon to Merlin9. Emrys to Arthur10. Helios to Morgana11. Tristan to Arthur12. Arthur to Merlin
ReplyDeleteCool,thanks!It's fun to guess.. : )
ReplyDeleteOkay:
Arthur to Merlin(but I guess it goes for everyone trying to escape)
Agravaine to Merlin
Arthur to Merlin
Morgana(or maybe Helios) to Arthur
Arthur to Morgana(?)
Gwaine to Elyan(it could be anyone really..Maybe Gaius)
Agravaine to Merlin
Dragon to Merlin
Merlin/Emrys to Arthur
Helios to Morgana
Could-be-absolutely-anyone to Arthur(Tristan maybe or one of the knights)
Arthur to Gwen
Looking forward to this!
My guesses:
ReplyDelete1. Arthur/Merlin to their friends escaping from Ealdor
2. Agravaine to Merlin
3. Arthur to Merlin/Merlin to Gaius
4. Morgana/Helios to Arthur
5. Arthur to Gwen/Morgana (?)
6. Arthur to ? (but this line could easily be anyone's!)
7. Agravaine to Merlin
8. Great Dragon to Merlin
9. Old!Merlin/Merlin to Arthur
10. Helios to Morgana
11. Tristan/Isolde to Arthur.
12. Arthur to Gwen/Hunith to Merlin (why not?)
4th could be Agravaine to Arthur (I just couldn't remember how to spell his name when half asleep last night :P)
ReplyDeleteOoo, fun! I’ll try again.

You know the correct answers,right?
I think Number 3 could be Arthur. He has called Merlin 'friend' before when they were in life threatening situations. I think Merlin stays back to cover tracks when they are running for their lives, but then Arthur comes back for him.
ReplyDeleteI really wanbt 3 to be Arthur to Merlin.
ReplyDeleteI guess that 4 is Tristan to Arthur. He needs to be convinced that Arthur is a good, humane king!
Have you seen this??? Can't wait till Saturday.
ReplyDeleteArthur/Morgana is certainly plausible.
ReplyDeleteAre you talking about the ending of part 1 contradicting the fifth teaser? I just meant that Arthur and Gwen seemed to reconcile at the end of that ep so it seems weird that Arthur would tell her everything they had is gone.
ReplyDeleteHa,i'm not even going to try!
ReplyDeleteI fear the 5th is Arthur to Gwen, but I agree with you it's a contradiction. In the last episodes (the Hunter's heart and the sword in the stone part 1) it seems that Arthur has forgiven Gwen as he realized he still love her.Apparently it's not like this. What a pitty if he forgave her without knowing the truth he would have been a great man!
ReplyDeleteI think it depends when Arthur is saying this to Gwen. If he is at all saying it (which seems likely) it might be more at the beginning. But then, either after finding out about the enchantment or through some heroic action of Gwen, he changes his mind. 'Will you marry me' does come up as a spoiler on another site!
ReplyDeleteYep, it's a fantastic episode. I don't see how fans won't love it to pieces, it has some epic moments which are as iconic as Colin teased in his interview on Monday :D
ReplyDeleteYep, saw the episode on Weds :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. Love 3, 9 and 12.
ReplyDeleteBut 5 is so sad!
You're welcome. Bear in mind that I stressed the 'context' of any of the dialogue may change the meaning ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, you lucky thing!!!!!! Can'tt wait for it and ......I need to get my life back!
ReplyDeleteReally hope so! Even if the meaning seems clear. 5th is very sad, expecially after the sweet scene of part 1 and in a finale season!
ReplyDeleteSandi can you tell us if Gwen's enchantment is revealed. Dgtl spy basically released the major plot points and it would seem not?
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the teasers. :) I take it there is no enchantment reveal for Arthur & Gwen, right?
“I can’t bear to lose you”Merlin inArthur heart is really special.Ohhh!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm ... interesting. Psyched for saturday :)
ReplyDeleteOh what a tease you are Sandi, but it is Delicious you devil! :D
ReplyDeleteNope, I'm afraid not. It was all played very differently, and all the better for it imo :)
ReplyDeleteIf it's the same bit I read before they took it down again, I found it a very dull explanation for what happened in the episode. It's all played far more epically than the list of events they showed :s
ReplyDeleteThe reveal isn't needed imo, the actions that take place in the episode mean so much more:D
the onl
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't worry on that score ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, no, is there going to be the wedding? Really?
ReplyDeleteyou just gave hope again! THANK YOU
ReplyDeleteNot in the traditional sense. There's a lot going on in the episode already for a wedding and a separate coronation too. Their relationship hits it's lowest and highest in this episode, they have a private (and pivotal) scene that means so much more than a public wedding imo :D
