UPDATE - Sara Hamill has denied these, saying that no one on the cast or crew would spoil in this way. I'm kind of glad, they all sound happily ever after, thou I do like the Morgana spoiler :( lol
Here's a full summery floating around the net for episode 13. Surely no way to confirm it, but it seems it's a leak from someone who worked on Merlin this season. Take it with a grain of salt, but stands to reason, could be the real thing. Especially since the apparent person was the source for a lot of earlier plots that were leaked through season four, shade Lancelot etc..
Series 4 ends with Helios, a new character, and Agravaine betraying Morgana after they help her take Camelot. While Arthur fights and kills Helios in the council chambers, Agravaine stabs Morgana in the back and she manages to get him in the chest. Arthur, Gwen, Merlin, Isolde and Tristan watch as Morgana says with her last breath that all she wanted was for those like her to be able to live in peace. As their first act after their wedding, Arthur and Gwen vow to make changes to the banishment of magic.
The last scene of the episode is actually four different scenes.
The crowning of Queen Gwen by King Arthur.
Morgana wakes in Avalon, told by the new sidhe elders that it was her destiny to return the old ways and she did: Magic will no longer be banned. They tell her she has a greater purpose now: To become the Queen of Avalon. But her test to prove she is worthy will be to seek out those she wronged and find their forgiveness, though she will be tempted not to along the way. The scene ends with Morgana waking up on and gasping "Mordred!" as someone comes up to her to help her up.
Arthur enters his chambers to find Merlin waiting. Merlin takes a long, seemingly endless moment and then recites a spell, a flame burning in his hand. Arthur reacts with shock and the familiar "Merlin will return" hits the screen.

I'm not sure if I believe that they will allow magic this year, some pretty major stuff needs to be sorted out if that's the case. I'd hope that Merlin himself would be more subtle for a start. I do love the bit about Morgana :D
ReplyDeleteOh interesting! I hope that at least some are true in some way
ReplyDeleteIf this is true, i would be SO HAPPY. Redemption arc in Morgana's future, wedding for Gwen and Arthur, and ARTHUR FINALLY KNOWING ABOUT MERLIN'S MAGIC?!?!
ReplyDeleteIt's too good to be true, but I want it to be soooo bad!
Merlin producer Sara Hamill confirmed these are fake: http://twitter.com/#!/sarajhamill/status/142232065352540160
ReplyDeleteOMG - I just squeed myself - can't wait!!!!
ReplyDeleteI admit it, I hope this is true...
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping they're true but I'm kinda doubting it.
ReplyDeleteThat would surely be too much, but still awesome;)
ReplyDeleteIf this really happen i will be the most happiest person alive!!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers, I will up date
ReplyDeleteCorn nuts!
ReplyDeleteaww I always want something BIG for the magic reveal but I'll take anything... do want this to be true!!
ReplyDeleteHave to admit, I'm glad these are fake. None of those spoilers appealed to me. Part of it might be the focus on Arthur/Gwen, which to me is the most forced and unnatural pairing on TV (seriously, they NEVER interacted and suddenly they were deeply in love? I literally fast forward through the A/g scenes because they make me roll my eyes so hard I worry my face will stick like that LOL) - I want the "magic being returned to Camelot" plot to be MERLIN'S story, as it was intended to be. Merlin and Arthur should be the ones to bring magic back, since Arthur is ruler and Merlin is magic. i don't care if Gwen helps, but if the writers make the legalization of magic GWEN'S plot and leave Merlin out of it, that'll really irk me. It's been Merlin's goal for the whole series, and to just yank it away and give it to Gwen feels unnatural. And I really hope that the magic reveal is more... dramatic than what's given here. I've always wanted Merlin to be put in a situation where he HAS to reveal his magic in order to save Arthur, thereby proving to Arthur the lengths he's willing to go to to serve Arthur and the kingdom.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. I would also feel a bit cheated for Merlin's sake if the magic reveal would happen the way it is suggested. I don't mind Arwen, but for me the true story is decidedly about Arthur and Merlin. I would hope that a magic reveal happens through something that Merlin does, not through anyone else (Morganga, Gwen etc.)
ReplyDeleteI don't think that I would be very happy about Morgana getting off everything bad she did ( like destroying Uhther, trying to kill her brother, friends etc.) with the ' I was just so misunderstood' line. And then she gets a chance to redeem herself further!
Merlin meanwhile gets .....what?
Well, there are aspects to this spoiler that we already know are true. Like Arthur and Gwen getting married and Gwen being crowned Queen. Whose to say how much more is also true. I doubt the producer would admit to any of it at this point. I don't think the magic reveal is real but the other stuff mostly is true.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Helios character is also correct!
ReplyDeleteWell, in doing yet some more deep searching I found this. I am not sure on the actual "to be true" factor, but just in case be WARNED that it could be a big spoiler, so dont click on it if you want to wait until next week. Even if this is not actually part of the script it would be something I would I wish the writes would review for future showings to increase the humor between Arthur and Merlin.
