    I kinda like the smaller seasons that we do over here, and most cable networks do in the US.  It means less filler, and leaves the actors/crew free to do a couple of other projects throughout the year too.  The example I usually use is Doctor Who, if there were more episodes in the year then there would be no Torchwood, SJA, Sherlock, Tennant doing Hamlet or Smith in Christopher and his Kind.  It helps to stop burn out imo :D
