A much better episode than I was hoping for. Bradley's performance once again blew me away, especially in one scene :( :) :D
ReplyDeleteI wish I could just know whether Gwen is in this episode or not. Does anyone know this? I want Merlin to help the poor girl, haha.
ReplyDeleteYou've already watched it?? wow, how lucky! :)) So... is it a filler or does the plot move forward? (ps: is it true that something about arthur's past is revealed? O.O )
ReplyDeleteIt starts off feeling very much like filler, but the arc does get picked up on too later on. The last couple of scenes are some of the best this year imo, Arthur shows he is more than capable of being a true and just King :D
ReplyDeleteShe's not physically in it, but her absence is noticeable and carries this episode in many ways.

ReplyDeletePlease tell me! I'm in a need of a Colin/Merlin fix! I find Colin Morgan's performances always so brilliant and stunning! Take that last scene in last week's episode, for example: it was so beautifully acted and it was the scene that was the most heartbreaking, definitely! Colin Morgan portrayed all the emotions with perfection. Now, I'm dying to know what beautiful performances he will have in next episodes. Please, just a hint, maybe?

ReplyDeleteHmm, in some ways but not directly. No big Merlin scene that I remember, this is Elyan and Arthur's episode really so it mainly concentrates on them, thou Merlin and Gaius do what they do in the background as normal, lol.
