    Jane seems to become bolder on the job as his relationship with Lisbon gets better.  I wonder if or how much that will change now that Jane's memory has been compromised a bit.

    That would be an interesting thing to see being played out. But I don't think they will do that. Sure, they wont show Jane back to normal immediately, but somewhat close to it. It was actually a brilliant idea, I wish they had made the story at least a two parter.

    Unfortunately, you're right.  I've read the upcoming synopses and there's no mention of any lingering effects of his fugue state.  It would seem that everything will go back to normal almost immediately.

    They can't afford to stray too far from the formula in fear of losing viewers, since this is a network show they would be on a tighter rein than cable.
