According to tweets over the past few days from Executive Producer Peter Lenkov and actress Taryn Manning, Mary Ann McGarrett (Manning) and Lt. Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) will be returning to the series – so for everyone who’s been asking, there you have it!
On December 7th, one of Manning’s tweets declared “Alex is a gem to work with!” and when asked by a fan when we’ll see her back on Hawaii Five-0 playing McGarrett’s (Alex O’Loughlin) sister, replied “Very soon!” - while Lenkov told fans the same day that Michelle Borth’s return as McGarrett’s Navy love Lt. Rollins would happen in Season 2′s Episode 16.
For another little tiny spoiler, Lenkov also responded to a fan’s tweeted inquiry about when we’ll find out who the mysterious Shellburne (and I’ve no idea if I’m spelling that correctly) is with “You will in 214″ (meaning Season 2, Episode 14). If you haven’t yet seen Season 2, you are not going to have a clue what I’m talking about…don’t worry about it. When you see it, you will.
Keep your eyes on Twitter, everyone…very often those who do know way more about what’s going on than anyone else!

Yay for Taryn's return!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not buying into the conspiracy theory that Shelbourne is Steve's dad.
I know it's probably tough for Lenkov to write Borth's character Catherine in the show, but I really like her paired with Alex O'Loughlin. They have really hot chemistry together. I'd rather have her be Steve's love interest than try to force something with Lori.
ReplyDeleteDidn't they say that Lori isn't going to be a love interest?
ReplyDeleteAlso, Steve/Dnany OTP for life all the way.
Cool, cool. I like her. Good news.
ReplyDeleteThere you go again, making me wish they could invent brain bleach. :P
ReplyDeleteYep sure did!
ReplyDeleteThank you, looking forward to see Michelle and Taryn back!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info
ReplyDeleteJust out of curiosity, does anyone know if Michelle Borth's Combat Hospital was given a renewal by Global TV?
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear that Catherine will return. I like here so much more than Lori.
ReplyDeleteI haven't the foggiest, but considering whats on in the summer i sure hope sure!
ReplyDeleteWill be great to see both of them...it's long overdue.
ReplyDeleteIf it does get renewed, I'm sure it'll only air in Canada. Even though the show was a hit in Canada, the show bombed in the US so I highly doubt ABC would air it or co-produce another season.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks, its not like they quality programming begging to get on.
ReplyDeleteI think I heard that Global did pick up the 2nd season but ABC wont show the 2nd season that's as far as I know
ReplyDeleteI'm glad for Taryn and Michelle's returns
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nardia. I couldn't confirm a Global pick-up but I did see that ABC did say publicly that they wouldn't order a second season.
ReplyDeleteI am very happy to see Catherine (Michelle) back hopefully a little more often then before. I heard that Canada TV Guide said that her previous show was cancelled there also, as well as the U.S.. I can't take the Lori character. I heard they signed Lauren German for 4 more epi's thru 2-17. I wonder why not the rest of the season. I'm hoping its the end, the character does not work.
ReplyDeleteAlso excited to see Taryn Manning back as McG's sister. Her absence was suspicious during the whole Jail, escape, and then the Korea incident. Would not a sister know what's going on? Or at least be checking in since she knows the story also?
I kind of like the Shelburne being their Mother theory. That would explain the postcards from Japan and why Joe went there. Either way I'm looking forward to the 2nd half.
