I was mostly joking, but that's good to know! Hostile work environments can lead to premature show end or story adjustment out of necessity of keeping two parties apart and not what the writers would like to do...
I can't help but feel that they're really trying to get Deb and Dexter closer together. My theory is this Deb story with Captain Matthews will end up with her getting all upset over it and killing him, and she'll go to her "safe place" and ask Dexter for help, and he'll reveal his secrets to her.
Thanks for letting me know ... looks exiting enough to pass for the end based on this - now I'm itching to see what stops they pull out for the big finish :)
I don't think they're gonna kiss, a close moment may happen, but something tells me that only Deb would find it strangely good, since she may be starting to realize her feelings, because i don't think Dexter has absolutely a clue of what's happening around him with all this Travis' thing going on, so he noticed that Deb is acting strange but he doesn't know the reason, remember the conversation chair/table. Besides, if all that reveals to be true, I don't think Dexter feels the same way, at least not right now.
I read somewhere that they said that's the plan, but if the writers need more time, they'll try to come up with another deal. But after the lengthy negotiations surrounding Hall's new contract I don't think he's up for more, otherwise Showtime might want to do even more seasons.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Events are in motion now.
ReplyDeleteThe beginning of the end for Dexter has begun....

ReplyDeleteLet's hope they nail these last two seasons
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see Dex and Deb together, all I can think is in real life they use to be married

ReplyDeleteis season 8 supoosed to be the final season?
ReplyDeleteThe plan is for two more seasons yep.
ReplyDeleteI know Michael C Hall wants to do other things (or just get away from his ex-wife). XD
You know what, I don't think he wants to get away from Jen, I've heard that they are really bff' they both just weren't the marrying kind
ReplyDeleteWow! Interesting trailer... Are they trying to "couple up" Dex and Deb? That would be weird... :)))

ReplyDeleteLooks like finally there's gonna be more action. The season started off good, but got kind of stale lately.
