I'm sure that moment was brief. No one is ever happy for too long on this show. One minute you're admitting your love for someone and the next you're on the run because you blew up a CIA agent.
Yeah I believe this is the episode where they're going to reveal that big secret from Sarah's past. Most people have been thinking that Sarah's the one that the Baby title is referring to, but recently I thought of something else. You have to think all the way back to season 1. 1x03 (Wookiee) to be exact. There was a person mentioned in that episode who hasn't been mentioned since and I think they could be the Baby of reference. The fans have been curious about the person for a long time. Ok, if you still don't know who I'm talking about, here it is: In 1x03, Sarah mentions a SISTER. Even though it's been a long time since I say that episode, I'm pretty sure she said the sister was younger. The baby being the sister would make sense for a number of reasons: 1. since they've never mentioned it past that episode, the fans know nothing about it, which makes it the perfect place for a huge secret to come from. 2. It would be close enough if you will to Chuck and Sarah that it could change their relationship, like Fedak has said the secret will. 3. It would explain why her mom makes an appearance (although it doesn't explain her former handler appearing so we'll have to see about that). 4. The fans have been asking about it for a long time, and this would be the time to answer that question.
Also, in case no one here knows yet, Shaw is coming back. Yes, unfortunately that's not a typo. He's coming back in 5x07 which is the Christimas episode. I'm hoping that they're just bringing him back to kill him off and if that's the case, I'm hoping Sarah is the one to do it because she deserves to be. He deserves to be killed off in way similar to Decker: brutal and untimely. Think about it, it's the Christmas episode, and I know many fans would like that for a present.
Not sure why Shaw's return is unfortunate. Sadly people have placed actor Brandon Routh in a list of bad actors because of one movie. Which by the way Superman wasn't totally his fault since he was told to act similar to Christopher Reeves. But that's beside the point.
I personally think Shaw was the best villain in the series, besides Volkov of course. He came in as a cocky agent & when everything went against him he snapped & was the first person to truly put everyone on that show in jeopardy. He played the villain role perfectly & I couldn't be happier to see him return. I even hope he turns out to be the main baddie in all this, but pretty sure it's not. I've been racking my brain at who's truly behind all this & don't believe it to be Shaw. But what a great character to bring back. Someone who has a ton of history with Sarah & besides Bryce Larkin, who I consider Chuck's other nemesis. His return is gonna be awesome.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Nice pic, think she'll be good as Sarah's mother.

Overall - pretty good choice - can't wait to learn even more about Sarah and her past.

ReplyDeleteLooks like good casting, will Sarah's mum become her conscience?
