Castle - Season 4 - Andrew Marlowe interview Part 2

7 Dec 2011

You’d think a wedding would be cause for celebration, but as anyone who’s planned one knows, it’s drama, drama, drama 'til the couple says “I do”!

The upcoming Castle wedding — which takes place in the first episode of 2012 — is no different.

In an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, Castle creator and exec producer Andrew Marlowe tells us there’s an unexpected bump in the road for Kevin Ryan (Seamus Dever) and Jenny Duffy O’Malley (Dever’s real-life wife, Juliana Dever) as they head to the altar.

“I don’t see any reason why the Ryan/Jenny wedding wouldn’t take place … except for a revelation that we might find out in the middle of episode 11,” Marlowe teases. “But they’re good kids. I’m sure they’ll figure out how to deal with that.”
Hope so! And guess who else is dealing with some wedding frustration? Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas) who failed to put a ring on Lanie Parish (Tamala Jones) earlier in the season and may live to regret it.

  1. Well, at least they aren't killing Jenny! (And I still have to write that angsty Jenny dies right before the wedding fic.)

  6. "Javier failed to put a ring"? I've got the impression that it was Laniewho was afraid of commitment.

  8. "Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas) who failed to put a
ring on Lanie Parish (Tamala Jones) earlier in the season and may live
to regret it."That's laying it on pretty thick.  They only went out for a few months.  A difference of opinion in the definition of their relationship is one thing.  Marriage is a whole other issue when you've only been seeing each other for a short time.
