Burn Notice - Episode 5.18 - Fail Safe - Review
16 Dec 2011
Cancelled Shows Reviews
The Burn Notice season finale is here! Read my review of "Fail Safe" and share your thoughts. Is it too early to speculate on season six yet?

It was really good, but so sad. I loved the scene between Michael and Fiona. Had he not cuffed her, would the results have been different. Can't help but cry when I see the end. Finally, the words "I love you" spoken by one of them. Now Michael is going to have to put everything he has on the line to save Fiona or lose her forever.
ReplyDeleteI am a little confused by this comment, "Michael and Fiona’s relationship, which is a significant part
ReplyDeleteof the show, should go through a major change, and I’m curious to see what that
will do for season six." Obviously, they will go through some sort of change, but what I am confused about is how the author put it. The way I read the quote, it seemed too me like the author already knew what this change was, but I can't figure what this change is. Did I missed something?
I'm hoping it means that Michael and Fiona will not break up, but rather move on together whether it be an engagement or marriage. I'm beginning to think there will be no happy ending for them because each time it looks like they're going forward, they hit a major setback.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone else get a bad feeling about Sam when he said he was sorry, or was it just me?
ReplyDeleteObviously, with a show like Burn Notice your not going to have a totally happy ending. Nothing with Michael and Fiona has every been normal, so why would they have a normal happy ending? I think in their own way they will have some sort of happy ending.
ReplyDeleteI did, I thought it was weird the way he said he was sorry.
ReplyDeleteThat was a huge discussion on the USA message boards last night. I kind of was wondering that in "Dead to Rights" when he took Anson to try and save his wife and it was too late. Anson was going to rush over there (supposedly) and Sam stopped him. Normal people don't do that.
