I sort of got the impression he was on for the season, much like Mitchell last year. So maybe his exit will come at the end. In any case, I have no idea where it foes from there with just Annie and Nina.
I think Michael Socha is back, he tweeted a few times about it. I hope he's in a majority of the episodes rather than just a few this year, he worked really well imo :D
I am very worried about liking where this series will go this season....
Killing off the vampire protagonist changes EVERYHTING for me personally as I never liked the ghost stories and the werewolf stories were very hit or miss to me.
Top it off with not knowing how much George is in this season and I worry even more. Bonus side of him leaving is maybe Nina will leave with George! Never liked Nina's character and never liked how she changed George's character or how she affected the stories.....
It's returning on Monday 16th January 9PM, I have an interview with Executive Producers/Writers Anna Fricke and Jeremy Carver next week so should be able to get some more info on it then.
I'm the opposite and have always found Nina and Annie two of the best characters on the show, they are by far the more 'human' of the supernatural cast (ie act how a majority of the audience would in the same situation). They have kept the vamp and wolf instincts of the other two at bay for much of the show over the years, or have challenged what those two see as normal or just a consequence of their violent lifestyle. Which in turn has allowed both Mitchell and George be redeemable even though they are both killers.
I was so traumatized by Mitchell dying in the last episode of season 3 that I still haven't been able to watch the season over again on DVD. If George leaves too, that'll be it for me. It's just not going to be the same show.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
bout freakin time!!!!
ReplyDeleteGonna be weird to lose such a main part of the show. We'll see how it is.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm a lil apprehensive to say the least. Last year was *such* a high!!
ReplyDeleteIt's just going to have such a shift in the dynamic. I hope they can make it work.
ReplyDeleteI wanna know how much Tovey shot, it's gonna be weird him leaving Nina while she's pregnant/with a baby. Unless there's complications there...

ReplyDeleteYay can't wait, it usually starts Jan/Feb so I was expecting it but still the wait between seasons is so long
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be strange without Turner and Tovey but I'll still tune in.
