I had not thought of it, but they aren't completely dissimilar...
I think the victims bodies underneath the 3 leads adds something unique to it . Now that I'm thinking of the picture it reminds me of a combination of the TVD posters and Tudors Season 3 poster.
I know about the UK version, I am super surprised, UK version are almost always superior (I am looking at you Office, especially). But I have always liked Sam Witwer. Let's hope that this version doesn't go off the rails, too. I love the concept. I can deal with vfx. The cast chemistry is coming along nicely.
Ha! I always felt the same way about the office. I loved the original but never found the US version funny at all.
I am hoping this one can hold its cast for as long as it goes unlike the Brit season. It already has the one advantage of having a far less annoying girlfriend for Josh/George.
I really liked season 1 and think the programme has a unique touch to it, it's not too far fetched like the other vampire programmes, although I really enjoyed blood ties. As for the characters they are supposed to be like that, they are all different and they have a more realistic feel to them! I am a fan of the UK version and was frightened what the US version might be like, but actually I find the US version better! The series has room to grow and the last few episodes of season 1 were really great. I'm looking forward to season 2.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Looking forward to Season 2!!
ReplyDeleteEspecially now that the UK version has gone off the rails....
Can't wait for the second season! Poster looks really great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting!!
ReplyDeleteI love this poster! I'm glad it's not a photoshop hot mess like I've seen for other shows. So excited for season 2!!!
ReplyDeleteI think this is another poster for the season but it has no logo or title etc. The scheme and font look to be identical.
ReplyDeleteNice poster
ReplyDeleteSomebody looked at some old Vampire Diaries posters and said "let's do the same thing set indoors."

It is kind of a mash-up of the two poster styles, isn't it? Good call. At any rate, it's not the most original idea from the SyFy promo department.
ReplyDeletei'm sorry but that guy is the weakest and geekiest werewolf i have ever seen...they really could have done better.... with their pick of actors
