If Robert Kirkman's excited, we're excited. About "The Walking Dead," that is.
Think of Kirkman as the man behind the curtain of the great zombie empire that is "The Walking Dead." He started writing the comic books back in 2003 and in 2010 helped adapt the story into AMC's most-watched series to date, which is now in its second season and already greenlit for a third.
"We're very excited for the third season because there's a lot of really cool stuff coming up in the story line that is going to be a lot of fun to adapt," Kirkman tells us.
But first, there's the rest of season 2 to get through. The 13 episode run will be taking a mid-season break after the seventh episode airs on Nov 27.
"[I]t is a bigger episode and there are some loose ends tied up, but I wouldn't want to say what just yet," says Kirkman, who hints that we may finally find out what has become of missing kid Sophia (Madison Lintz), who has been AWOL since the beginning of the season when she ran off into the Georgia woods. "But I will say to keep an eye out for that episode, it's gonna be huge!"

Hopefully he was talking about Tyreese when he mentioned those new characters in the second half of this season. I could also imagine they'd do the hunter storyline sooner than in the comics.
ReplyDeleteHershel is keeping Sophia in his basement or something
ReplyDeleteWhatever she's dead or alive, I just hope Sophia storyline is gonna end soon. They've been just dragging around for five episodes now, time to push forward the plot.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait!
ReplyDeleteThat thought popped into my head too, but I don't really think so. I think she stays in that house Daryl came across. Hershel has some odd ideas, but I believe he's basically kind.
ReplyDeleteGreenlit for a third season? Woo-hoo!
ReplyDeleteIt was a no-brainer. TWD is the biggest show on basic cable right now.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a cool way to introduce Tyreese, have it be revealed that Sophia is alive and was rescued/taken care of by Tyreese.
ReplyDeleteI stopped watching the show cause of that storyline, I got tired to see the characters talking about her and lose screentime in the wood searching for her
ReplyDeleteWhere were you all this time? xD I was starting to feel alone here..I'm glad I'm not the only one who stoppped watching
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how if any other show, a 22 episodes show, dragg a minor storyline for 2-3 episodes episode start to complain, but when a 13 episodes show dragg something over 5-6 episodes, its perfectly normal
^^; how come when I'm telling that in the reviews everyone is against me but when you're saying that here you have 4 likes?
