I won't lie to you, right after Elena told Alaric that she "got this," I immediately turned to my sister and said, "When does Elena ever got anything? Name one plan of hers that's ever succeeded!" And then Stefan reiterated those same sentiments just a couple of seconds later. It almost seemed way too perfect, if just a bit eery. But I have to hand it to Elena, she apparently did "got this" because once Rebekah started talking… she didn't seem to stop! …

  2. great episode!  and you're so right.. Elena always THINKS that she can handle things, but it usually goes south pretty quickly

  4. Great episode! I feel that what Rebekah told Elena is only one small portion of the whole story... didn't expect the original witch to be the mother of Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah and that she died... interesting.. =P
