Thanks to www.mycoven.com for the heads up
We've been teasing "Supernatural" fans for weeks about the impending Winchester wedding. Yes -- in next week's Nov. 11 episode, one of the Winchester boys will be preparing for a walk down the aisle with a returning female character.
Finally, The CW has given us the okay to tell you: It's Sam (Jared Padalecki) who will be the groom next Friday night.
They've asked us to keep the lucky lady under wraps, but we can tell you that it's a character we've seen before, and Sam isn't marrying her as part of the job -- he may be a little misguided, but he believes he's in it for all the right reasons

...I just hope to God it's not Becky.
ReplyDeleteOk so far halfway right by guessing Sam. The lady has me nervous now...wonder if Sam is "misguided" due to the trauma and hallucinations? Interesting nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteI hope not, too. Maybe it will be Gen making a fake appearance. Could it be a demon possession? We will have to wait and find out!
ReplyDeleteThey are really keeping us on pins and needles here... Lol. Can't wait for the next two episodes!
ReplyDeleteNow i'm sure it's Becky....
ReplyDeleteI've gone through all the females on SPN Wiki and I'm drawing a blank..
ReplyDeleteEither he'll marry Becky (Though I can't understand why he'd be 'into it') or (Wild guess alert) Sam will be going through some What Is and What Should Never Be trip thing, and will marry Jess \ Ruby.
I like the Jess approach and the What Is and...Never Be guess. Keeping fingers crossed its something cool like that and not a hokey love spell/Becky fiasco.
ReplyDeleteGuessed from the episode description it was going to be Sam, but no idea who the bride will be.
ReplyDeleteIt's Missouri!!! (sp?) :P
ReplyDeleteI thought Sera said it will the the funniest episode before the break. And it won't be Jess, unless it's becky. hahaha~
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty pretty sure it will be Becky!!
We all knew it was going to be Sam. I'm guessing, if it is Becky he's marrying, that she put him under a love spell or something. I'm thinking this episode is going to be more "Wishful Thinking" and less "What is and What Never Should Be"
ReplyDeleteThey should have kept us in suspense until the end.
ReplyDeleteI know that a lot of people like to be spoiled but I think that this particular sneek peek could have rendered better by keeping it under wraps until the episode aired
Then god help us all.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm wondering how it will play out. Wishful Thinking had a magic coin. It might be a spell. But we just saw 2 Witches AND coins in episode 5, so I don't think they're gonna repeat that. So how will Becky get Sam to say 'I do'?
I'd love it if it was either something touching like Jess, or even strategic (like a union between the "boy king" of Hell and a demon to make a power play to defeat Crowley or the Leviathans), but either of those would come dangerously close to developing Sam's story, so I think it's mostly likely to be something gimmicky, like Becky.
ReplyDeleteso Sam is the groom...I hope Backy isn't the bride -.-'
ReplyDeleteWasn't this posted already? And still not looking!
ReplyDeleteIf it is supposed to be a comedy then it will probably be something grotesque like Becky, but if it was a serious episode I like both your suggestions.
ReplyDeleteIn the first instance Sam would get to play out his dream of true and unrequited love, and in the second generate a child as powerful as Jesse to get rid of the various levia and hellish enemies!
Another (Way) wild guess - Amy comes back, and tells Sam she survived the stabbing. Sam, who is extatic and also afraid to lose her again, proposes. Dean is angry and tells Sam that he watched her die, but Sam, still being angry at Dean, refuses to listen and wants to believe she survived.
ReplyDeleteA job comes up when some people are murdered, but Sam and Dean are mad at each other and refuse to work together, so Dean teams up with Garth.
Eventually, it's revealed that Amy is actually LeviaAmy and she's the one killing people. She's about to eat Sam when Dean comes to the rescue.
Brothers have a heart-to-heart touchy-feely talk, Dean tells Sam that he's truly sorry about Amy, yadda yadda yadda, Bros make up and agree to take down all those LeviaBastards. The end.
That would be a cool episode IMO, but this theory is way out of the ballpark.
The sky's the limit here!
ReplyDeleteWe are never going to find out until nearer the time anyway, but it's amusing to pitch our own versions of what will happen :-)
I don't think it'll be something similar to What Is And What Should Never Be.It's gonna be real..somehow.If I'm not mistaken,Sera said that this is supposed to be a funny episode,so odds are that Becky will be the bride. Not sure how I feel about it yet..
ReplyDeleteBut with Supernatural there's also a strong possibility that whoever the bride is,she'll be dead by the end of the episode. We'll see...
Oh my gosh!!! I didn't know!!!!
ReplyDeleteWait, yes I did.
It is. Becky uses some love potion on Sam, which makes Sam all for the wedding which had been said a couple days ago on how the groom will "be for the wedding and excited about it". Dean and Garth, however, I will be taking care of a different case...at the end of "The Mentalists", Sam and Dean will go in opposite ways since their bromance isn't just there yet and so Dean deals with a case and Bobby send Garth over his way. How exactly will Dean, Garth and Sam be in the same place as seen in the promo pics? Possibly the monster crashes the wedding, or honeymoon.
ReplyDeleteWell it all depends on so many variables.
ReplyDeleteObviously if Sam is under some sort of spell or love potion, the bride will get an unhappy ending, probably ganked by Dean, but if Sam is in his right mind, perhaps still angry about Amy, and having decided that he has had enough of Dean and of hunting, and wants to settle down ,then it could go in another direction altogether.
ugh, if it is I hope it doesn't last long.. I don't know if I could take much of that
ReplyDeleteI have absolutely no idea who could be the bride... darn I know this will make me crazy... This ep can`t air soon enough !
ReplyDeleteWhy do people think it'll last long? It's Becky + a love potion...that should state right there that it's not a permanent thing and will only be for an episode. Why would a married Sam even go to hunt the Jersey Devil with Dean and Bobby if he was stuck being married and to Becky?
ReplyDeleteSam's getting married! ;) Haha! I gotta see that!
ReplyDeletedid I miss where it was revealed that it's a love potion?
ReplyDeleteI think it'll be "wishful thinking" on Becky's part, and the actual marriage falls under the category of "what should never be"! LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't remember reading anything about Becky or a love potion...certainly not on here or the CW
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, oh what if it is Becky writing fanfiction and since she has been around Chuck/God(?) she has the ability to make it real?! Now THAT would be Meta, unique, and totally hilarious without having to keep her annoying presence around longer then an episode.
ReplyDeleteI was so torn between reading this post and just ignoring it. In my head, I was like: Ï wanna know!" "No, it's gonna ruin the surprise!" "But I already know it's Sam!" "No you don't, you just think so and if you click that button you will be sorry!"
ReplyDeleteIn the end, my curiosity won (when doesn't it, ever?)
So, it's Sam. Pretty sure Becky and the love potion are involved now, too. Not too thrilled about that, but we'll just watch and see...
Totally called it would be Sam....I'll die (in a good way) if its Becky, but it would be so cute if it was Jess or Ruby/Gen
ReplyDeleteSarah Blake from season one maybe
ReplyDeleteSammy, what the hell are you thinking boy???? You know hunters don't get to have a life. Idjit!
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Can't wait to find out what it all means. And if it IS Becky I hope she dies horribly and forever.
Well, there ya go then...spoiler alert, haha.
ReplyDeleteAccording to posters on the CW message board the bride is a blonde. I think that came from a set report but I cant be sure,
ReplyDeleteSince there is nobody listed as a female guest star for the episode that I've heard of, I'm guessing it's a new actress but a familiar character. So Meg maybe? Or someone that could possess another shape? Unless they're keeping it so hush hush IMDB doesn't list her. I figured it had to be Sam, although that may show that he's more messed up than we thought. After Dean's whole experience with Lisa, why would either of them think marrying someone was a good idea? There's gotta be something hinky about it all.
ReplyDeleteI thought Becky was hilarious. I am all for a funny episode. Bring it on.
ReplyDeleteI really hope it's not Becky, as a lot of you seem to think it will be. I would give anything if it were Meg instead.
ReplyDeleteI figured it would be Sam. Dean really doesn't seem like the marriage type, and isn't he busy with that guy Garth or whatever? As for the 'bride'...hm. I still think maybe Meg...but I don't see why Sam would want to marry her! XD Maybe it's a spell or curse of some sort? Hmm. Interesting. I just hope this 'marriage' doesn't last long. No more than an episode! The last thing we need is a repeat of last season's Domestication storyline.
ReplyDeleteAnd you read this/know this from where?
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of something similar to What Is and What Should Never Be (excellent episode!). I thought Meg, myself. I mean, we've seen her before, and there was the use of the words 'unholy union' or something like that. I'm probably wrong but. *shrug* Just a guess.
ReplyDeleteMy first guess was Meg. I don't think Sam would be for that...but he wouldn't be in to Becky, either, I don't think. And where is all this about Becky coming from, anyway? Just guesses or was there some clue it might be her? I'd prefer Meg over Becky...
ReplyDeleteI think there was some hint of a Becky return not to long ago and most people have been speculating that this is the episode where the return happens.
ReplyDeleteWhat? When was that? I've seen all the episodes, including the recent ones, some multiple times. I never saw anything like that. :P
ReplyDeleteNot onscreen. It was in an interview or a spoiler column or something similar.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I see. This is the only spoiler site I follow, so if it wasn't on here I wouldn't know about it.
ReplyDeleteYea!!!! Can't wait!!!!
ReplyDeleteGuessed that it would be Sam. Can't wait to find out who and why he's getting married.
ReplyDeleteSomeone had posted this on the site a while ago actually.
ReplyDeleteI agree, she IS hilarious !
ReplyDeleteI really don't get why some people seem to hate her o_O
Maybe the woman is someone who already had sex with Sam at least once. Logicaly when he was souless, and now... she's PREGNANT.
ReplyDeleteSo that's why Sam, thinking that he is the father (this being true or not) believes he had to do the right thing for once and marry her...
If this is it, it will be great to see him freaking out a little XD
Bobby's going to be the bride.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's Sarah Blake from Season 1's episode "Provenance"
