    Why the hell is this news for spoilertv? I send in interviews from Lake Bell (Childrens Hospital/How To Make It In America), and they dont get posted. Put because of a dog of an actor dies it gets posted? Fff

    So sad. My own dog died 17 months ago, also of cancer. I spent a lot of money on him and I couldn't save him. I had him for 10 years. Those people who don't think it's important don't have dogs and don't know how special they can be.

    I feel sorry for Jared, though. My dog of 16 years passed as few years back so I know how it feels.

    Everyone knows how much Jared and Gen love animals, and how much they love their dogs. It's just terrible to lose a pet that you've created a bond with for so much time, especially to something like this.

    Learn what you're talking about a little more, for years there was a lot and a LOT of behind-the-scene stories about Harley and Saddie, those dogs are part of the SPN family, the comparaison to some tires is ridiculous

    I know a large number of the fandom cares and I think anyone would be sympathetic... It's just not show related or news about the series etc.

    Although I rarely post in the forums so I can understand posting a story of more personal interest here too....

    Oh shut up and go away. If you aren't a part of the Supernatural family then you don't have a clue what Harley was to Jared, to the SPN cast and crew members AND to the fans. Harley was a big part of Supernatural as well as a member of the family, so unless you understand that, then go spread your nasty, foul attitude and hate elsewhere. We'd rather not step in it.

    I've been crying.  This is sad.  Sandra McCoy, Jared's ex fiancee had Harley for a while now, caring for him because he couldn't travel.  He FB last night said it was Harley's last night.  Jared flew home to LA today.  Harley has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

    Huh, I'm trying to figure out where in my post I said he isn't a part of the Supernatural family, and it's hardly so-called. Evidently you're not either, considering Jared and Jensen have *both* repeatedly stated that we *are* a Supernatural family. In fact, when I met Jared just under two weeks ago, I was welcomed to the family properly by him.

    Sure, everybody has a right to their opinion, but when something like this is posted and it's sad news, it's ridiculous how somebody has to come in whining and throwing a little bitchfit because his stuff didn't get posted. Get over it, but there was no excuse to come in here making nasty comments toward Harley who was more than just a dog to a lot of people.

    Also if anybody knows or understands Jared, they also know that Harley was like a child to Jared and Jared is a huge dog person who loves and supports and has helped rescue many dogs that need help or a home. Post your opinion all you want. Don't expects rainbows and sunshine and flowers if you're just gonna be a jerk about it.

    I guess it depends on the fandom.  Since SpoilerTV has so many contributors and each contributor largely determines what is of news to its fandom and what isn't, there will be a lot more variety in the posts than if only one person posted.  I mean, it is ultimately up to Andy what can and cannot be posted here but I don't see the harm in posting something that's not strictly about the show if the SpoilerTV fans of that show want to discuss it.  In the end, it gives SpoilerTV more website hits and could get them another regular viewer.  That's a win for the site and the fandom.  If people don't like a post, they can always ignore it.  I once had someone complain that I was running a best Supernatural episode poll, but it was popular with this section of SpoilerTV and added hits to the site.  Later another show did a similar thing.  My suggestion is that if people really like a show, become a contributor to that show and help determine the content for it.

    David Fischer It's very simple. If you don't find a post interesting or worthwhile, simply ignore it and move on. Some people enjoy this sort of news, some don't. Just skip it. It's pretty simple.Why does it bother you so much?

    Ohhh, no, that's so sad. I bet Jared is devastated. It was obvious how much he loves his dogs, constantly talking about them at all.

    I lost a cat a few years back, and it was just horrible. So I know how he must feel. (Dog, cat, it doesn't matter, any pet you love...it's the same thing.)

    Sandra McCoy was watching over Harley for months for Jared.  Harley had cancer.  There two pages on Facebook.  One is RIP and the other is a community site for cancer in animals.  It's in Harley's name.

    I had to put my dog down a few weeks ago, poor Jared. I'm so sorry for his loss.
    By the way, if you don't care for the news, simply ignore it. Is it really that hard? If you don't care about the actor or what goes on in his life fine, but do you really need to upset everyone and cause an uproar over something you can simply just ignore??? Not to mention you come off as a huge jerk when you do.

    It is sad to loose a long time companion and Sadie has to be feeling the loss just as much as Jared, Sandra, and Gen. So in our condolences lets give a belly rub and ear scratch to Sadie as well.

    I am so sad to hear Jared's dog Harley died..Poor Jared !! We all know how he adored his dogs and always talked about them all the time at interviews and conventions ...It must be a very hard time for Jared right now losing his dog..I hope that he is ok and dealing with it ..My sincere condolences to Jared  for his loss ...RIP Harley.

    Which show was your news related to? Were they interviews with the stars of one of the shows or the crew of one of the shows? I would think that if it was related to a show in some way, it could be posted... Just like this information about Harley is related.

    Yep, this was the first year that Jared didn't have the dogs on set with him all the time. He was afraid they couldn't take the cold, wet Vancouver weather.

    I am a wildlife rehabber and had a fox squirrel that was not releasable and he was a member of the family for almost 10 years.  I still cry standing by his grave and love The Rainbow Bridge, so for anyone that has lost an animal friend.

    So sad. It's a measure of just how open and generous the guys are with the fandom that we can feel the pain of this loss, even though most of us don't personally know Jared or his dogs. 

    Pets are family members and it hurts when they leave us. Thank Spoiler TV for the opportunity to share our thoughts and feelings about this here.

    Let me explain to you why it's relevant. Jared has made his dogs a big part of the Supernatural family since the beginning. There is a promo with Jared and his dogs on YouTube. There are pictures of him and his dogs in the early seasons all over the internet. During the episode of "Heart" when Sam had to kill Madison, it took Jared to just think of having to put his beloved dogs to sleep to cry like that. He's always kept us fans updated on how they are. He takes pictures of them and tweets them for us. He talks about them at the conventions, and fans have even met his dogs. We all felt a special connection to his dogs since the beginning so to lose one of them is like losing a member of our Supernatural family. That's why it's relevant and important to the fans who are a part of it all, myself included.

    I am so sorry to hear this sad news! I know exactly how Jared feels! I lost my cat in July and am still so heartbroken over her, but she will always be with me. I hope Jared knows where Harley went to in Heaven-a place called Rainbow Bridge. It is supposed to be a wonderful place for all of our beloved animals who have left before us. They are there waiting for our arrival in Heaven. Rest in peace, Harley. Jared and Gen are in my prayers. He was most definitely lucky to have lived as long as he did and to be loved as much as he was.
